Playtex Coolster Tumbler is a spill-proof, insulated cup designed for older babies and preschool kids. The Playtex Coolster insulated cup has a specially designed spout-less lid for kids who have outgrown their baby sipper cups but still need spill-proof protection. With the Twist 'n' Click feature, the lid click closes with a simple twist and the cup becomes 100% leak-proof. It's also well insulated to keep drinks cool and fresh for longer periods.

These Playtex cups are awesome! Sure, other reviewers have a point that there is occasionally a tiny bit of liquid in the rim past the valve that can "leak" but the actual valves themselves do not let ANYTHING through. I can deal with a few drops spilling, but I can't stand finding large puddles when a cup has been left lying down for a longer period of time. We were previously using Munchkin Mighty Grip spill-proof cups, but they leaked terribly (which taught me that "spill-proof" does not mean "leak-proof") and the spouts kept tearing or getting chew holes in them. The valves on these Playtex cups are away from little teeth, so chewing is not even an issue. It also stops my kid from making "milk drawings" on the ottoman (hah!).Before giving this cup to my kid, I tested it out myself first to see how easy it was to use. The spout is comfortable and gentle suction is all you need to get the liquid out. Further, I like that these cups will work without the valves. I can still use them when my kid gets older, and/or I can also use them for myself on the go since the design is so low-key and adult-friendly.A word of caution - you must make sure the lid is twisted all the way closed. The threads leaked the first time I used these, but once I figured out the lids could screw tighter, I haven't had a problem at all.Originally, I just bought one set to see how well we like them. I just ordered more because I love these so much!***UPDATE 5/25/16***My kid's 2 two front teeth have started to protrude. She has a habit of sucking on two of her fingers still, even at 2.5 yrs old. I'm not sure whether it's the cups or her finger-sucking moving her teeth forward, but I suspect a little of both. She's old enough to wean from using sippy cups, but I just wanted to update for anyone concerned about that.

Leak under the lid, one lid stuck on the cup, wrong colors, easy to clean
At first glance, I loved these cups. They're nice and simple, without all the cartoon characters all over them, and they're fairly easy to clean. I have gone through so many sippy cups and have yet to find one that doesn't leak. Some leaking is understandable, like a few drops coming from the spout, but these also leak from underneath the lid. Also, I can't get the lid off of one of them. I probably pulled a muscle trying, because I figured if I'm the one that screwed it on, surely I could unscrew it too. But I will have to resort to asking my husband for help (damsel in distress, oh me oh my!) I also received the 'boy' colors although I ordered 'girl' just as others are reporting. Not a huge deal, I would keep them if not for the leaking and the lid I can't seem to get off. I'm going to see if I can return them and look for something in a higher price point. Tired of all these cheapy cups!

Sipsters Win the toddler cup
Playtex sipsters are an easy default in our household. We have a toy story sipster from nearly 10 years ago that’s still good as new, and these are the same quality as far as I can tell. I like how it’s more of a sport style spout as opposed to a sippy spout. The valve is easy to throw in the dishwasher basket and can clip to the inside of the lid for storage. You can also use the cups/lids without the valve which makes them last longer.

No spills and easy to clean
I ordered these cups for my 4 year old who likes to have milk with story time before bed and I needed something that holds a larger amount of milk and prevents spills in her room. I have been pleased with them, no spills and easy to clean in the dishwasher. There is a removable rubber insert in the lid for the spill proof feature that removes for cleaning. It does say color varies but I did wish they would arrive in pink and purple as pictured, they came in green and blue with grey lids.

Great cups, and almost 100% leak proof
My 2-year-old daughter likes these cups, and had no trouble using them after I explained how the spout works. They do not leak when full, but sometimes a little liquid gets trapped in the spout after she has been drinking from the cup, and spills out when the cup is tipped on its side in my daughter's lunch box. Even so, it's just a tiny bit of liquid. When we're out and about together, I just tip the cup upside down over a sink or outside before I throw it in the diaper bag. Problem solved. I did find them a little difficult to open the first few times we used them, but they have loosened up nicely. We wash them in the dishwasher, and just remove the silicone valve and put it in a dishwasher basket. I haven't had any concerns about cleanliness the way I have with other water bottles, etc.

Spill free and easy to use
LO loves these cups! I've purchased them several times and trashed every other water cup for travel. I've never had a problem with leaks and they've lasted. I only use them with water, but never have to worry about leaks in my diaper bag or even tiny fingers trying their hardest to tip the water out. Despite them being leal proof, LO doesn't seem to have any problem taking a sip and can easily grasp the cup.

Best cups ever
Yes! Finally a cup that doesn't have annoying pieces to assemble and can be cleaned easily! Too many styles of sippy cup allow moisture to be trapped inside. This one comes apart easily so I can make sure every time that everything is clean and sanitized, and the pieces fit back together in seconds. My favorite sippy cup of all time (and we have tried them all).

Don't bother chosing your colors...
I know a lot of items state that colors may vary but usually you still get what you selected. Unfortunately for me, this one truly did vary. I chose the pink and purple cups and received blue and green. If I had wanted blue and green I would have chosen blue and green. Would much rather have been told that my choice was out of stock than get the same boring colors that I was trying to get away from. Very disappointed. I gave it two stars because they did arrive quickly.
