I bought two of these recently and had them put together quickly. While they don't recommend a drill, it will save you a lot of time. You simply need to remember to not overtighten anything and to fully tighten only after everything is assembled. I had the 2nd one built in less than 10 minutes. These are comfortable with or without the cushions and have a variety of recline positions. In addition, adding a clamp to the cross-bar allowed for an additional (more upright) position that others had commented was lacking. I've only had these for a few weeks, so I can't speak to durability yet, but assembly and initial use has been great! The cushions are cheap, but within expectations given the affordability of the chairs themselves. I had one plastic component that was damaged and I contacted support via e-mail and received same-day responses and a replacement part was (and several other spare parts) fedexed to me promptly.

I love this chase lounge/ daybed. After reading some of the reviews I was a little hesitant on being able to put it together by myself. However. It was very simple once looking at the directions. I really didn’t see a YouTube video that represented the chase lounge but the main thing is to use the Allen wrench and screws in the package and only tighten 50% until the frame is put together. And continue tightening gradually while going around the entire lounge. I had no problems getting holes aligned by doing it this way. If you tighten the screws too tight it could throw off the alignment but this can always be corrected by and untightening the screws. Just follow directions I was able to do it alone which I was concerned about because I saw mention of needing at least two people. I just love it works perfect for my patio in a small space

Okay so the bases are durable & fairly easy to put together! Those cushions are ridiculous! They look like a baby mattress NOT for comfort.So when you buy these make sure you know where to get good cushions! I got 2 red ones for $300 they are By Sunbrella...Finding cushions for these was a pain...they should reduce price and keep those nasty pads. Just saying

shipping was faster than promised..chair is very good quality..cushion a little skimpy..directions leave a lot to be desired but video helped. Only complaint was getting last two panels to line up and be screwed together..very hard.I was putting chair together alone and never did get screws in all the way.

It took me a long time to find chaises like these that have a wider synthetic wicker weave to match some other patio furniture that I have. The construction is good. All of the bolts lined up perfectly. Not like the nightmares that I've read about online. The cushions are just OK. Kinda thin and a bit more yellowish/cream than what's pictured and seems like a PVC type material not fabric. I replaced the cushions with Sunbrella which you can't go wrong with!

The manual doesn’t help at all, the video is not enough to explain and I know my way around assembling. The knots and holes are wrongly presented and situated, pre drilled holes are masked by rattan, really bad manufacturing! Don’t buy. Took us 3 hours to understand that the holes are really predrilled on wrong sides of poles and we can’t do anything about it, just send it back. I guess that’s why the low price.

Very simple but nice looking. Well worth the money. Exactly what I was looking for I. An outdoor chase. The cushion is a little thin but I have lots of extra cushions to supplement this.
