Great Citizen Watch
I got the navy blue version of this watch and I am very pleased with how it looks and operates. I do wish the second hand wasn't exclusive to the timer function, but that's okay as most chronographs are like this. The strap is actually quite nice, I like the metal accents around the holes and the material used. The watch has a very easy to read face, unlike most watches I have seen. The chronograph doesn't count hours but that's okay I guess. This watch is a bit expensive, but I think ultimately it is worth the investment as it is a nice quartz watch (no need to worry about it stopping like an automatic) that can recharge itself with light.

Great looking ECO drive Citizen Chrono
Gave this four stars only because Citizen put plastic bezel on this great watch. Why? Great price. Came from UK. Took ten days. Worth the wait. ECO drive by Citizen a favorite of my medium price watch hobby. This is my third Citizen watch. Have worn it all day every day for 5 weeks. 1 min. UV light lume lasts all night. Hands and chrono hit all the marks. Watches take shiney photos! Get an ECO drive for your watch hobby. Keep watching. Jonny G.

Looks nice but that is about it
I like the look and fit, although the band does not have much extra (1 notch). Eco drive is very cool. The chronograph is a joke. Despite that it has 3 sub-dials, only one of these sub-dials is used by the chronograph; so the maximum time this watch can track is 1 hour. Lame. No paper manual; requires using an app to get the manual and ‘activate’ the warranty (whatever that means), but the app does not recognize my watch’s bar code so it fails.

Very Disappointing
I have been a collector of Seiko and Citizen solar watches, including chronographs, for many years. Indeed, I owned the gray-faced version of this watch (purchased from Amazon) but sold it because I found it somewhat hard to read with my aged eyes. Perhaps I’ve just been lucky, but I have never purchased either brand from a reputable seller and found them to be defective in any way. I was delighted when this watch arrived, finding the dial much easier to decipher than the gray version. I was initially taken back a bit by the slight “scarring” on the case back of the watch and the absence of the usual Citizen owner’s pamphlet but chalked both up to handling and/or packaging missteps. After the usual initial exposure to indirect sunlight, I set the stop watch function in motion and it seemed to be working normally although the “start” (top) button didn’t depress with the typical slight resistance to pressure. But when I pressed the “stop” (lower) button, the timing second hand would not return to “zero,” but stopped at the 59th second. I tried again and again, including allowing the timing function to run for its entire 60-minute duration, to no avail. You may have read of the same second timing hand’s anomalies in the one- and two-star revJiews of the watch, but I have never encountered the phenomenon prior to this. One might assume that somewhere in the Amazon product handling process, someone might check to see that the watch is functioning properly, but perhaps that’s too much to ask. One might also posit that this is a minor malfunction and doesn’t justify a return. My answers are that there is no reason to accept a defective product and certainly not at this (ever-increasing) price.I am returning the piece and asking for a replacement which will presumably work as it should. And, yes, I do believe the slight scarring of the case back and lack of the owner material suggest this will not be the first time it was returned.

Price is too high
Little smaller than I thought it would be. Band is kinda cheap for the over all price.

Stylish field watch + chrono
This watch is a good upgrade for those who also like the blue Timex Weekender Chronograph. Missing is the Indiglo feature but you do get excellent lume and stainless steel case, and with Eco-Drive you never have to worry about changing batteries. Plus the dial looks nicer.I really like the blue on this watch. It has a nice sunburst effect but is not overdone so that it still fits the field watch style. The red hand adds a cool touch to the monotony of the blue and white dial. The chronograph give a kind of hollow/tinny sounding click when pressed, so it does feel cheap in that regard. The strap is so-so. It has big round metallic holes for the buckle to go through. I’ll probably replace it with something else, either a leather and/or nato strap.
