Not as wide as expected
The product is 8.9 inches wide as advertised, but my Kenmore 106.55523400 had a part the was 9.2 inches wideThe two tabs on the sides that hold the part in place cannot reach so the new part is just sitting there.Both ice and water dispensers are working.The original lasted 21 years. I wonder about the durability of this one, but at this price that is not a major concern

Mine fit exactly.
right upper corner broke where it is so thin but it still snapped in and functions perfectly. With the price of other units out there, I am more than pleased.

Did not fit!
This part is an imitation of the OEM. It was not wide enough to fit into the clips on me refrigerator. I returned the the part. I ordered and received an original OEM part from another seller.

Worked as Expected
My water dispenser on my refrigerator stopped working. A YouTube video commenter mentioned this part as a resolution to the problem. It was a inexpensive, quick repair. My water dispenser is working just as good as when I first purchased the refrigerator.

Issues that can be overcome
The part arrived with 1 of the 4 pins formed shorter than the picture and no point. I set up a return and replacement which runs exceptional and had a new part in 2 days. This part was the same as the first so I thought I would try to make it work. The pin holds on the switch and the short pin goes about 90% of the way in the switch so it should be good. My problem was that the part is shorter left to right that the OEM and is not held in by the existing clips. There is a simple fix. If you look at the part on the lower left and right there is a slot and a hole respectively. Behind those on refrigerator there is a block of plastic that looks like the design originally called for this part to be screwed on. I found a small 7/8" long screw and screwed into the slotted side to secure the part. I works and I am back in the ice game. I gave 3 starts because I should not have to come up with a new method to attach the bracket.
