AXEFoaming Face Wash, Shield 4.2 ounce

I wouldn't call this an oil control, at least for me. I would much rather call this a oil cleaner because this product would leave me with very smooth skin after a long day at work but wouldn't do anything that would prevent or slow my oily skin down. I have oily skin and have been trying different products and this was one more I believe is a cleaner and not a control. I had an issue with this product as well, when I would scrub my face I noticed that when I would accidentally get some on my eye lips, they would form an almost looking stye the next day. I think this product is clogging up the ducts around my eyes and tried an experiment to try to put some on an eye and see if this was the case and it did happen. As a nursing student I understand the many areas styes can be contracted but I cleaned, washed and took extra preventive measures to mitigate as much. I tried two times with the oil control to rub a small amount (as much that could fall by accident) and both times ended up with a swollen eye lid. This product just wasn't for me but if you need a oil cleaner this might work for you. Hope this helps

I accidentally ordered this instead of the Oil Control one. But that is 100% my fault. Not holding that against Axe at all.I used this a few times, and it cleans very well. Once I clean my face, it is fresh and smooth for hours. It smells and feels nice, and you can feel the "chilled" sensation in your skin.But why 4 stars?Well, it did very little to clear up any blemishes on my face. It kept my face slightly cleaner, but didn't do much beyond that. It wasnt worth the money to me. Maybe the other ones in the line would suit my needs more, but for this in particular, it didn't work. I still have it, I only use it sparingly now, since it's simpler to just clean my face with a bar of Dove, which has the same effect it seems.

Works great. I especially appreciate that the "scrubbing beans" in this product is ground up bamboo so it does not add plastic to the environment and the beads eventually break down in water treatment plants

This is the best face wash ever, doesn't make me break out or leave me feeling like it stripped 5 layers of my skin off. Up until Amazon, I was only able to find this face wash in travel size, and that was just by fluke at our local grocery outlet. So far I have yet to find any major retailer in my area that carries this face wash, so naturally I was stoked to find it on amazon. The product came faster than expected and was full sized!

I like Axe face washes and I use them all the time for my oily face. This one works just fine for me. The only downside is that I don't know if I like the scrubbing beads. I know that it is labeled as a scrub, so I'm not complaining too much. I just had hoped that the material would dissolve in water (like some do) but these do not. If you want something exfoliating, go for this, if not, try one of the other Axe face washes.

My boyfriend uses this and one day I borrowed it from him and i have been using it ever since. I struggle with acne and I have never found a face wash that actually keeps my skin clear until I tried this product! It also helps with my redness!! Who knew axe face wash would be the cure for acne!

I bought this because Amazon ran out of Neutrogena's invigorating scrub. Looking elsewhere, I found this for even cheaper, and in a bigger size. This stuff is great! It does exactly what it says, it made my skin smoother than ever, and my acne has gotten much better (even though its not really acne treatment). This stuff won't dry out your face like other products do. There isn't too much of a scent to it, which I like, and it's been lasting quite a while. A this rate it may last me a total of 2 months, which is great considering the benefits and its low price. I highly recommend it.

This is just the best aftershave. I have relatively sensitive skin. I have tried many different shaving creams/oils, many different aftershaves. This is the only one that kills the bumps. The scent is light, the cooling sensation is fantastic even if your razor is a bit older and you probably should have changed it but it's too late now.
