I bought these to use on my home made camper van sunshade awning instead of having pole eyelets in the corners. they work perfectly and grip the awning well. so no tearing the material at the corners like eyelets do.

Bought these because I felt my new tent needed a couple of extra guy points to those provided. However, on setting up the tent when I arrived, one of the hooks on the tent broke off and I was able to create a new fixing point using one of these and a cable tie. So glad I'd taken them! Really easy to use, tightened well and held all weekend but came off just as easily with no damage to the fabric.

Ideal item for securing a tent for my bike on a patio in windy weather using some paracord. Strong grip , no qualms.

Believe it or not I'm using these to hold my fitted bed sheet and fitted mattress protector in place. The corners were always coming off (usually 3am) so I wanted a solution to keep them in place. I bought some small bungee cords and some tarp clips to clip on all 4 corners of the sheet and protector to hold them in place (2 tarp clips on each corner diagonal to each other with the bungee cord hooked to the tarp clips and hidden under the mattress). The tarp clips I first purchased were the ones that have a oblong case around them that you push up and click in place. They didn't work and the oblong case kept slipping down and the material fell out :0!I bought these Nuoshen tarp clips with the screw mechanism and they are brilliant, I've been using them for 4 weeks now and the material hasn't come out once as it is tightly gripped and doesn't move, the only way they come off is when they are unscrewed for washing. Aaahhhhh cosy blissful sleepy nights are resumed zzzzzzz :0)Hope this was helpful, Max

I bought these to clamp my cover on my outdoor dining set. The image suggests that they open to 2.5cm - they may open that far (but I doubt it) but you can only tighten the clamps with the screw to just over 1cm (I've tried to show this in an image), so I can't use them for what I intended. There's nothing wrong with them , I can probably use them for something else, I just thought it may be useful to know because that image is a bit mis-leading.
