PowerStar® YTX4L-BS AGM Maintenance Free Battery

Even though I had replaced the battery in the Honda Scooter a few years ago, since it sat most of the time and didn't get used, it had died again. This battery dropped right in and enabled the Scooter to be driven - then sold. It worked fine.

I needed a battery for my KTM and as I don't ride it often and I'm perfectly comfortable kick starting it I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money on a brand name battery (do some searching and you'll find that pretty much all batteries are made in one of 3 factories anyway). It's just nice to be able to hit the start button for those times when you're in an awkward position and kick starting is not feasible. So, anyway, I took it out of the box, installed it, and the bike fired right up. A couple months later and it still holds the charge, even with very limited use. Only thing I'll note is the terminal bolts and nuts that come with it are a little short, use the ones off your old battery and you'll be good to go.

i received the battery a few days ago. worked fine in my 49cc scooter. today it died. i contacted the seller to receive a replacement and its all bulls***. they want me to do 5 different test. i go to do the first test (test voltage) i have it professionally done and the first thing they notice is its leaking acid..... will update as progress.

Just got mine, it is labeled maintenance free. I had to add acid and put on a non removable cap. The innards looked just like a normal flooded battery. It has two small vents that leak out acid when trail riding. I've never seen a agm battery leak. Oh well it was cheap and I plan on replacing it with an Earth-X battery next summer when I can afford one. 11-25-14 Edit Battery won't hold a charge

Was surprised that I had to put the acid in the battery but it was a simple procedure. Just make sure you have a battery charger to give it the initial charge

The battery I ordered said AGM in the description. The battery I received said Sealed Lead Acid on the side of it. Although the battery does work fine, I am not sure I received the battery I paid for.

this battery is great for the price . and works very well right out of the box .i love it.. you sould buy it... if it fits you atv.!!
