I'm bought another set for my other home. These blades are study and SAFE. I have been using them to cut paper - lots of paper- and they are still sharp. I use them to pick up vinyl, to help release paper from my Klick-N-Cut electronic die cutter, along with picking up glue dots for my card crafting. I bought another set for the kitchen, and a set for my husband's tool area. I feel I have been hard on these knives but they have held up, the retractable mechanism is still working. I have a 9 year old God daughter who crafts with me. Being retractable is just one of the reasons I bought these craft knives. I cannot say enough about how satisfied I am with them.

I am a cake decorator and use fondant for almost every cake. I was using regular cutting tools for my fondant, but I was not so satisfied with them. I came across PenBlade products through social media. I saw other cake decorators raving about them and how great they are, so i decided to try them out myself. This was one of the best decisions I could have made for my cakes!When I first used my PenBlades, I was extremely surprised by how well they cut. I didn't think they were going to be as good as they are. I thought it would only be a slight difference from my old tools I was using, but boy was I wrong.I use these cutters for fondant designs, such as pictures, letters, logos, etc. It is often when I have to cut into very small areas, or cut small curves. These cutters get the job done without me having to put barely any effort. The cutters are very sharp, and come in different shapes, so they are perfect for getting even the most intricate designs without leaving any jagged edges. This saves me so much time when I am rushing to finish something up.I love the design of the whole product itself as well. They are so safe and so convenient!I would definitely recommend these tools to any other fellow cake decorators. These tools are also great for cutting paper, which I also tried.

The pen blade lasts a long time before it needs to be replaced. It is easy to use and one of the best safety features is the blade retracts so it is easy to travel without it poking or cutting anything. There are three sizes which also makes it perfect for every kind of cutting need, small or large. A must have tool in the tool caddy.

After using one of the pen blades on a project, I found it to be excellent to use. I'm more used to a more substantial body of the knife to hold, but the blade cuts super and it is comfortable to hold. The blades are small so it's not really a utility knife I believe...it definitely is more of a 'arts' crafting knife. They work excellently making 'fine cuts' so that's very helpful. I would recommend these to my fellow crafters.

I love these knives! I've been using these since the beginning of July for anything and everything I can think of and have been quite impressed. I now have one in my car, my kitchen and my office and have given some to family members to try out.These work great for opening boxes and doing crafts. I did a huge project where I needed to cut stencils out of cardboard and ended up using one blade for hours on thick cardboard. The knife made the job so quick and easy (and precise) and it was still sharp afterwards! The best part is that I probably dropped the knife on myself 5 or 6 times and had it been any other knife I'd have filled my legs with holes and cuts! Each time I dropped the knife I was ecstatic that the blade had retracted before hitting my leg. Pretty genius idea! My mother does a lot of craft projects with her grandkids and gave the same praise. She was nervous about letting the kids cut with such sharp knives but with the retracting feature the kids did a great job and stayed safe! I've been recommending these to anyone I hear mention using an Exacto knife or other sharp blade. They're just as sharp (if not sharper), disposable, safe and at a great cost. I'm a huge fan.

Love the retractable blade mechanism! So much safer for me. As a paper crafter, cutting out small details is easy. Good feel in my hand and a place for my finger to apply pressure to the blade. I love having three sizes of blades, one in each 'pen', and while I usually use the 11 or 15, the 10 has been great for cutting corrugated cardboard and craft board. Sharp so far. Would definitely buy again, since it means I don't have to deal with reloading blades that never seem to be secure. These are very secure.

These are for delicate cutting. They're not as robust as a metal Xacto Knife, much less a utility knife. They're precise, and the blade is held securely and does retract for safety. Think 'cutting a design from a single sheet of paper'.

I love having this pack. I bought a single blade and loved it, so I decided to get a pack. I have a blade all over the house, for so many reasons! I like to keep one in the kitchen knife drawer -for that time I made a cake and cut shapes from sugar paper with no hassle, to cutting shapes in carrots to make fun chicken noodle soup. I keep one in the junk drawer for countless uses - box tops, impossible plastic packaging, mail, you name it. I keep one in the bathroom - tags off of new clothes, threads coming loose and I don't want to pull or snag, etc. They have so many uses besides my crafting! I love that they are stainless steel, so I can wash them with no worry. I even used one to cut cardboard boxes for a school project, then used the very same knife to cut paper and it was still sharp with clean lines! I love that the blade does retract so I can put them in drawers without cutting fingers. The blade is not replaceable, but it is definitely worth buying another when (if ever) they begin to dull. Even my husband has started using one instead of his utility knife for some projects.
