Love these. However. I would not say they are slow flow. Which is fine for me - others may care. I may think this because I was using breast feeding nipples before these. I'm not versed in all different types of bottle nipples. I just think these work well because they go right on my pump bottles. Less dishes. And my baby had a weak latch in the beginning so the flow was good for her little mouth and the shape seemed to be good for her. We had no nipple confusion with BF whatsoever. But definitely more of a glow compared to the advent bottles we tried first that she rejected.

These nipples flow way too fast to use on infants. I bought with the intentions of saving on bottle washing. (Thinking I could attach this to the bottle I directly pumped into), however, these are too WAY to fast (even though they say other wise) for my one month old. I still unfortunately have to transfer my milk to a different bottle to feed. Worth a shot!

I kept the Medela bottles we used for our first child, and ordered these to replace the old nipples which were too old to reuse. Fit perfectly, and baby #2 has had no complaints! Works for breastmilk or formula just fine.

My baby liked them but sometimes they get sucked in depending on how hard or fast my baby is drinking. However overall I like them and the baby does too. The milk flow is not fast nor too slow. It was ideal. For reference my baby has been using them since roughly 3 months old and he is 5 months old now. They are durable.

As a parent, finding the right bottle and nipple combo can be overwhelming, but Medela nipples have been a total game changer! They’re incredibly well-designed, especially for breastfeeding moms who are also pumping! The nipples are soft, high-quality silicone and mimic the natural feel of breastfeeding, which made the transition between breast and bottle seamless for my baby. No nipple confusion, no fussiness, just smooth feeding. They’re super easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and very durable. After multiple washes, they still look and feel like new!

Despite negative reviews (some of which I suspect are 'trollers'), these nipples fit perfectly inside the wide-base Medela rings I have with no space to spare. You do have to twist and fold them a bit to get them inside, but I PROMISE THEY FIT. It's a secure fit, too, so when I tested the nipple out without a bottle attached, there was no gap. Also, it's worth noting that you don't want to screw the cap on the bottle too tightly, or the nipple might get bent out of shape because of air pressure. Tight enough that it won't leak, but not strong-man strength. Speaking of the testing phase (which seemed to be an issue to some posters): if you fill the nipple and cap up with water or milk, squeeze it to get the flow going, and hold it upside down, of COURSE the flow isn't 'slow' but the second you tilt it, bottle attached or not, so that it mimics the angle at which you'd feed your child with, the flow is sluggish and perfect. I don't have any issues with these nipples. I suspect they're going to work perfectly for my son, they're easy to get in and out, made of great quality material, and are SLOW FLOW.

Will only work with Medela Spare Parts Set (listed on amazon but not cheap as with all the medela range) as they have the wide rings to fit. (lids also come with the set if like me you can't find any that fit for love nor money!) WILL NOT FIT STANDARD UK BOTTLE
