I got this to add to my fruit wines. This has a good chocolate flavor. I'll probably try this in my smoothies this summer. If you like chocolate this is very good. Glad I got this.

A good extract. Important to know that chocolate extract DOES NOT taste like sweetened chocolate. It isn't supposed to. It tastes like cocoa powder which has no sweet taste at all. Chocolate without sugar is quite bitter. Use this to punch up the chocolate taste in a desert, but don't expect it to bring any sweetness.

I use this in coffee to create a mocha vibe without the calories or carbs. I also add a couple drops of mint for a mint mocha flavor. This is ok but not as potent and chocolatety as I hoped...especially for the price. Smells great but the flavor is a little weak. Will use it but not.sure I will repurchase.

In my baking realm I believe that an extract of the same flavor as what you are making (i.e. chocolate, vanilla, cherry, etc.) should be incorporated to enhance the flavor. I never could comprehend the use of vanilla in a chocolate recipe since it didn't do anything to bump it up. I love OliveNations extracts and I have quite a few of them, but I go through the chocolate extract very quickly. Theirs actually tastes like chocolate and not chemicals and really add that chocolate boost to my confections. People always ask me for the recipes and how I do my little tricks with Boxed cakes when I am in a rush to get something made like the one in the photo. They are clueless that it was prepackaged aside from the icing. And it was devoured very quickly. I am trying to teach my husband how to bake and how to learn that what is written isn't in stone when it comes to certain ingredients, mainly extracts. Have fun with them and only buy quality products like OliveNations. I strongly recommend that you try this and any of their other products.Enjoy!

The price for this was much lower than what I could find locally. I used it recently to help boost the chocolate flavor of a Bavarian cream pie and it worked great.

I was sent pistachio flavoring not chocolate, which I need for a wedding cake that it due for delivery in less than a month. This is the first time I've had a problem with Olive Nation products. However, I do need it fixed in a timely manner.

I bought this for a recipe, it is amazing. Wanted to buy it for a friend and it was now going to have a ++ shipping charge. Questioned it, didnt get a great answer but looked again a few weeks later and no shipping. So. Great product, just check when to buy it!

Can I add more stars? Please? cus this is a 10/5 stars.A medical diet has eliminated cocoa mass from my diet and that is where all the good 'chocolate' flavor is. This extract makes up for that in spades. It has a rich bountiful bouquet, when you open the bottle it fills the whole room with the essence of chocolate. A simple teaspoon worth adds a delicate flavor to a dessert and a bit more makes you feel you are truly eating a chunk of rich dark chocolate. I fully recommend this product for anyone short of true allergies.
