IKEA IKEA 365+ VARDEFULL - Garlic Press, Black

My package came in super late (3 days later than the already hefty deadline they gave me). The packaging was completely broken and the product had some residue on it. Clearly not new in any way. The quality is bad too. Definetly not an IKEA press. Cheap knock off.

We first saw this garlic press in a villa in Greece but never seen it for sale anywhere in Greece or here or on-line until I noticed it is an IKEA design. The unique feature is how easy it is to clean. Clever but simple

Bought as a Christmas present. I have an original from Ikea, but this (despite being in the same packaging) is no where near as good. Tatty packaging and a screw in the hinge fell out as soon as I took it out. The metal was scratched, definitely not a brand new item, sceptical whether it is even genuine Ikea. I was willing to pay the £3.99 mark up on the original price to get it in time for Christmas. But throughly disappointed!

Wish I'd had this years ago. It's a treat to be able to swivel the side outwards and easily clean the garlic skin from the perforated base. Great design. Crushes several garlic bulbs in one go. Very strong and practical. The handles are a comfortable soft grip. I always wash it in the dishwasher and it still looks as new.

Used this first when on holiday in a rented house and couldn't wait to have one. Heavy duty press and so easy to clean as base plate is hinged for easy access
