Must have for your collection IMHO
I can't even believe this cost as little as it does. First of all the bottle alone is so cool its worth buying at the price I paid (somewhere around 10-15 bucks shipped)... But then you go and you spray it without any maceration or anything just straight up after opening the box and just wow. This smells phenomenal, way better than The One by D&G and the longevity seems way longer than that one by comparison too. I am shocked they aren't asking for 30+ per bottle maybe even 40+ and may just buy 2-3 more while I can because this stuff is on my top shelf right next to my various Azzaro bottles and other much more expensive (by comparison) brands. For real this one is a 10/10 IMO I am shocked because usually you get a cheap bottle and, well, you get a cheap bottle... This stuff smells shockingly high end IMO like if you showed me this at the mall I would never believe that it costs what it does.

A hidden gem!.
Are you kidding me? This is a steal and it smells awesome, and lasts a long time. Dont let the price fool you. This can go toe to toe with other colognes costing 10 times more. Get it while you can! A rare find indeed!.

EXCELLENT Value
Edit: I wrote this review nearly three years ago when I was first getting into fragrances. Now, I have over 60 quality bottles, designer and niche, in my collection. I have probably put over $10,000 into my hobby, buying and selling and buying some more. Cuba Gold is still magnificent. In reading my past review, it seems almost juvenile regarding how excited I got about these fragrances compared to what I have now, but I stand by it. Cuba Gold can go head to head with my vintage bottle of Amouage Reflection. I sold the other three, they're worthless to me. Gold, however, still gets me tons of compliments, and, more importantly, I still enjoy it. It's definitely not my favorite, but whenever I wear it I'm amazed at how underrated in my collection it is. Cuba Gold is truly a special fragrance and absolutely worth its great price.ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2013 FOLLOWS:Wow, $12 for four fragrances. These really impressed me. I am a collector of colognes/fragrances, and I am happy I bought this set. These look great on my shelf with their extremely unique bottles!I bought this set for three reasons:The first reason I bought this set was for the pure novelty. Just look at them! Cigar shaped bottles, very cool. The second reason I bought them was purely for Cuba Gold. Cuba Gold has been compared to Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier. I love wearing Le Male, but it's an expensive fragrance. So why not wear it for nearly 1/5 of the price? And along with that, I get three other fragrances. The third reason I bought this set was for the value. 4 fragrances for $12, which comes out to about $3 each. I'm sold. So, which fragrances smell the best?Gold: This fragrance has been compared to Le Male. I understand the similarity. It is very similar to Le Male. However, it is more subtle and there is less of a cinnamon note in Cuba Gold than there is in Le Male. Very soothing scent, and it has lasted anywhere from 5-8 hours on my skin. Smell: 9/10. Longevity: 5-8 hours. Projection: 6/10.Orange: This is a very citrusy scent, but surprisingly long lasting. It lasted about 4-6 hours on my skin. It smells like Sunny D. Smell: 5.5/10. Longevity: 4-6 hours. Projection: 5/10.Red: Tobacco. This is Cuba's tobacco fragrance. Definitely the most mature smelling of the bunch. This is definitely a winter scent and not everyone can pull it off. Some people have compared the smell to Burberry London, but I don't get that at all. This is a harsh tobacco fragrance, but not entirely displeasing. I wear it every now and then. Smell: 5/10. Longevity: 6-8 hours. Projection: 6/10.Blue: I never wore this fragrance. It smells very similar to Chrome by Azzaro, which I also have. However, this fragrance is harsher in the opening and smells a lot "cheaper" than Chrome. With that being said, it is a summer fragrance. Since I never wore this fragrance, I can only rate the opening smell at 4/10.Overall, Cuba Gold is the best. But why not buy the value set? It makes a great novelty, and the price simply cannot be beat. These are quality fragrances. I would have paid $20-25 for this box set.Buy/Try/Pass: This ranks as a definite buy.

Fantastic deal!
I kept hearing about Cuba Gold from online reviewers. "Cuba Gold smells exactly like Le Male, but at a fraction of the price," said reviewer after reviewer. Originally I was just going to buy a large bottle of Cuba Gold, but then I saw this variety pack and decided to give it a shot instead. And although one of the scents is awful in my opinion, I can still say this is a fantastic deal.I'm not going to give a complete breakdown of each and every fragrance note by note, so I'll try to sum each one up.GOLD: Amazing in every way. There is no one on this earth who can convince me that this isn't just Le Male in a different bottle. Great projection, great silage, great longevity. If you simply bought the variety pack for this fragrance alone you'd be getting your money's worth several times over.RED: Sort of a sweet, tobacco-y scent. This smells like an unlit cigar. The staying power of this one is pretty moderate. I'd describe it as being a totally safe fragrance. The only person I couldn't see pulling this scent off is someone in their teens. I'm not saying this is grandpa's cologne, but it does have a level of maturity to it. If you're, say, mid 20s and up, this is probably appropriate for you. But hey, at the end of the day, wear whatever you want. Still, this is a very good fragrance.ORANGE: This smells like orange spice and tobacco. There are these little cigarillos made by a company called Tatiana. This smells identical to a case of their orange flavored ones. In other words, think the description of Cuba Red I mentioned above, but with spicy orange. Some people describe this as smelling like orange soda, but I disagree. It's more complex than that. Another fine scent that only adds to the value of this variety pack.BLUE: This one is so awful I honestly was stunned it came from the same company. What a mess. This smells like copper, alcohol, talcum powder, and just...overall very chemically and synthetic. One reviewer said this smelled like baby wipes. I agree, but it also smells stunningly similar to Aqua Net hairspray. Harsh, harsh, harsh. But again, you're paying such a small amount for 3 other great fragrances that it's okay if this one is a dud. Throw it away or give it to an enemy. Use it to turn napkins into hand sanitizer wipes. Clean a toilet with it. Just don't spray it on yourself. It's horrid.Overall, this is a great purchase for anyone who wears fragrances. I would recommend this to someone just start a collection, but don't think that this is going to cover all of your bases. Red and Orange are pretty similar scents, and Gold is somewhat situational in its use. Still, again, it's hard to argue against this pack at its price. If anything, pick it up to see which one you like most so you know which one to buy a bigger bottle of. Well done, Cuba!

Nauseating vanilla with tobacco. Vomiliscious. Feminine. Gross. Stay AWAY!
If you like tobacco mixed with vanilla and want to smell feminine. But if you're a man it will make you nauseous. I literally thought someone was smoking in one of the rooms in my house. Gross. Really bad. Like dollar store bad. It's an insult to the stuff in the dollar store actually which smells good.

Duftes Set

Pretty good! Prob will buy again
The blue one smells almost like an air freshener, think Febreze Air or something, but with a hint of alcohol. Mostly just use it at home. The orange one is pretty citrusy and tangy, smells sort of almost like a perfume or a cleaning product (not in a bad way) but again with a distinct alcohol smell. I use it usually just if I am out with friends or running errands, smell nice but nothing too bold. The red is heavenly. Its reminiscent of an older man kind of cologne from the 60-80s or something. Its the type of smell you’d ascribe to Fidel Castro or your dad or something. Almost tobacco-y (not cigarettes, tobacco), almost lemony (but distinct difference from the orange citrusy smell). Smells like an expensive, sexier brand and I heard its a clone as well. The kind of cologne other men would smell and think “damn thats good”. I like it for going to work or for more serious occasions or get togethers/gatherings.The gold is a much more vanilla, sweet kind of scent of course again with the sort of alcohol hints but I’d say it smells the least of alcohol compared to the rest, you could smell it very directly and up close directly to the bottle and not get the kind of harsh nose burn sensation. Seems like the type of scent that ladies would appreciate moreso than others. I’ve also heard its a clone.Good bang for your buck, eau de toilette will never really last as long as you hope but I can still confidently say it stays smelling nice for at least 4 hours if not more and lingers on clothes of course. You can try to kind of spray it into moisturizer and rub it into your neck/behind ears/wrist as well if you want a longer lasting scent that will kind of “project outwards” a little bit, enough that people will get a hint of it as you walk by.
