Works well for LED grow lights and seed bed heating mats for an indoor spinach grow. Set up is pretty easy and if the paper instructions are too difficult for you, there are a couple yt videos you can watch. We keep the overall wattage under 1000w draw.

It works well for my aquarium, allowing me to cut down to one power strip instead of two. I have heat, air pump and filter on the continuous on side. While lights are on the timer side. Had to read the directions a couple of time, with the device in hand to make sure I sat it up right.

Great idea and product. This surge bar is perfect for both just plugging things in and for those things you want to plug in on a timer. We use the timer side for lamps we keep on timers so when we are not home, those lamps turn on and off and make it look like we are home. We also use them for timers for Halloween and Christmas lights in windows. The regular side gives you several more plugs to use if you need more than just those two on the wall.

This surge protected power strip with a 7 day digital timer is exactly what I needed for my grow tent. Having 4 outlets on the timer and 4 outlets always on gives great flexibility in an all-in-one power strip. I intially had some issues getting the timer portion to work properly until realizing that the timer needs to be set to "Auto On" which came defaulted with "Manual On". Also reading some of the reviews and watching the product video were also very helpful in trying to determine why the timer was not initially powering things on. I was in dire need of a timer for controlling the fans and lights within my grow tent and this product is working perfect for that as well as keeping power always on for my wall clock and soft water system. You can create several different programs of times on this timer for different scenarios and they will be stored for when needed which you can select by program number. The digital timer on this power strip is so much nicer and accurate versus the timers with the tabs you need to pull up and push down which usually have only one outlet on them. I highly recommend this digital timer power strip to all others who need an all-in-one power strip with digital timer, especially for applications such as a grow tent.

New Review:After having this for about a year I can say that it has been more of a headache than worth the money. I have read and re-read the instructions over and over to make sure I'm not doing something wrong, but the timer simply doesn't work. I have everything set to turn on at 7am and off at 8pm. The clock is set for the correct time. What actually happens is that it turns on around 6am and off around 6pm. This is while in "auto" mode.Another annoying thing is the instructions don't explain the difference between auto-on and auto-off modes. I've had my lights be on in both settings and in neither one do they seem to follow the program.Further, the description on Amazon says "Easily set up to 8 on/off programs for the timer’s 4 grounded outlets." but if 4 of them are "always on" you actually can only program 4 other ones.Which leads me to my other annoyance: the programs are all coordinated by number, but the outlets don't tell you what number they are, so it's a ton of guesswork to figure out which is which.I'll be reaching out to the company for a warranty replacement.Old Review:First let me say that it works and it is great. Overall I love it.However, the description on the page states that you can adjust the time for 4 outlets, and 4 are always on. However, the device has programmable settings for all 8. I've tested this out and unfortunately it doesn't work, at least not for the 4 that are on the "always on" side. Why have the option for programmable settings for all 8 if only four will work?Second, the program menu has each outlet sorted by number, however there is no indication in the instructions or on the device as to which outlet = which number. It's a bit of trial and error figuring out which outlet corresponds with each number.Other than those two things, works great!

Had one for well over a year to use for my aquarium lighting. Very well-made, absolutely no issues and very easy to program.Love how half of the outlets are constant on while the other half are "switched" using the timer. Time setting remains even after being unplugged, although I haven't tested this over an extended period.Really wish the each of the timer outlets could be independently controlled with different schedules per outlet.. maybe a version 2 soon??That said, purchased two more for indoor Christmas lights. Works fantastic.
