Works well and simple to put together. Gear settings provide some variability to training. I sit it on a padded mat but it still makes some noise. However, I would be surprised if it were quiet given the job it is doing. I can still hear my music over it without it being too loud. The front wheel support is essential and comes with it. Very pleased and happy with this product.

A lot cheaper than the competition, I was dubious, but it functions well. Can be cranky, and a bit fiddly to assemble and keep the latch tight, but small issues given how cheap it is.

I'm not a serious recreational cyclist (do around 45-60 minutes most days) and I've never used a TURBO before but when a family member tested positive I wanted do something during my isolation, ordered this and it came the next day.Easy to assemble, needed the spindle that came with it as the one on my bike didn't fit, but that was very simple to do. Takes about a minute to setup each time now that I know what I'm doing.Feels very solid and stable, resistances are fine for my need as a temporary alternative to getting out on the roads. Will definitely use it in the winter during inclement weather.It's not ZWIFT or the like, but it is only £60-odd and it beats sitting round the house being miserable during isolation !

Really pleased with this item. It is exactly what I was after, allowing me to train at home and in the garden on my bike in poor weather and avoiding busy times on the roads and trails due to COVID. Really easy to assemble, simple to understand. I would only suggest more emphasis is put on the need to change the rear skewer and how to do this as for me, as a novice to this, I had to spend some time figuring this out - and it almost put me off buying it. That said, once I figured it I was surprised by how simple that was. So, easy to assemble, easy to use and once up and running the resistance changer was really good and I felt the change is exercise when used in conjunction with the gears. The only downside is the noise which was a little off putting but I think this is due to the fact I’m using a hybrid bike with trail tyres. The noise was reduced when I transferred to carpet as suggested and I’ve since invested in a new pair of slick tyres to increase the surface contact between the magnetic resistor and the tyre - hoping this reduces noise still further. All in all though, I have to say it does the job once your up and training (just get some earphones in and music on and you soon rise above the noise!). I would recommend this product.

took a little time to find the sweet spot for the tension on the roller once found the trainer works well and the resistance levels are useful arrived on a rainy day so was used straight away the noise is noticeable but not overly so

It’s always difficult to know what trainer to buy but this was cheaper than expected whilst fitting my mountain and racing bikes (mountain bike very noisy racer much much quieter) I would definitely recommend this trainer I’m on month 2 and use 4 days in 8.

Have used mine through out winter with my road bike and worth every penny. Has kept me fit and close to kettle and food supply. Would recommend it to anyone like me (74) needing to kit fit without going out in the rain.
