John FriedaBeach Blonde Sun Streaks Lightening Spray, 3.5 Ounce

I don’t think John freida is making this product anymore . I did find one , it’s cost close to $50 when originally it was about $8. I thought it was strange that the top was taped up but I tried it anyway this past weekend. Guess what?!? This is NOT the original product. Someone put Sun In or peroxide in the bottle because it turned my hair orange. The original Sun Streaks was wonderful, it made my hair look naturally blonde so just beware!

Ok, let me state that I can't believe it took me so long to find this! I am officially IN LOVE. It is perfect. I had darker hard... With some natural bleach blond highlights. During the summer my hair always go to blonde naturally, but the winter growth ( which is usually in a ponytail) wasn't getting the sun to catch up with the rest of the sun bleaching. This left me with horizontal STRIPES basically in my hair. I have hair that is down past my but so imagine how this looked..... Yikes. I thought I would give this stuff a shot. It turned out even better then I had hoped for! It fixed the spots where the ponytail hit and evened it all out. It's not orange. And it subtlety lighted it over about, ehhhh maybe two weeks. I used it every day and I am an even bleach blonde. It was perfect. The best part is it isn't streaky, or hard to use. You can hold it close to ur scalp if you want highlights only and let gravity do its thing or you can go for overall color, and hold if back and spray. I have officially found what I will be using over the next several years.THANK YOU JOHN FRIEDA!!

This product does exactly as advertised. My natural hair is blonde and I like to spray it to naturally lighten it or create highlights by spraying my hands and then wetting strands of hair with this product. I notice a difference the same day! My only issue with it is that the smell is very strong like peroxide. I have always had this issue with every hair lightening spray, so it was not a surprise. it is easy to cover up the smell though. I would still buy this product again when i run out!

As with all the John Frieda hair products, this does exactly what it says. I color my hair a darker shade of blonde, but use this spray on select areas that frame my face. It works very gradually which gives me excellent control over where my hair lightens and how much. It does appear that my hair has been naturally lightened by the sun, and it never looks fake or brassy. I use it twice a week after shampooing and my hair does not get dried out or damaged looking as has happened with other spray in lighteners in the past. The entire line of John Frieda is always of the highest quality but at a very reasonable price and I highly recommend this lightening spray for soft, subtle highlights.

This stuff is great! I read a number of bad reviews about damaged hair. Then I received the product and had to laugh because the label tells you specifically what to do and what NOT to do. If you choose to not read, then you have nobody to blame but yourself. I read the label, followed the labels advice and guess what...beautiful hair! Gave me a nice little lift in the blonde. Had people asking me if I had lightened my hair. This is a good product!

It works. Subtly lightened my light brown/dark blond hair nicely. The only problem was it also dried it out really bad. I'd return it if I could, but I already used it a few times.

I liked this product at first but then I did some research. I don’t know what’s in these products - but it dried my scalp out so bad! The matching shampoo and conditioner broke my entire back and legs out and as I saw in research, I’m not the only one who had this problem. Someone even complained about it discoloring her towels and pillow cases when sleeping with wet hair. I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin or scalp.

It’s a slow process, and well worth the wait! I like this product, worked with my hair dryer. Just wanted something to kick start the Summer boating season. I’m a dirty blonde, never frost or put chemicals on my straight fine hair. I wanted a softer look and this did not let me down!
