UPDATE: 3/22/24 Coming up on over 3 years used and I have to say it’s held up really well. The leather has worn down around the edges that rub against my pockets when I put it in and take it out, and around the bendy parts. Every couple of months I color in the white worn down parts with sharpie and you can’t even tell. I’m finally retiring it for now because my sister bought me a cuter one for Christmas (same company) and I’m looking forward to being more stylish. I’m keeping it as my backup because it’s reliable and I love it. I definitely still recommend it. I’m over 3 years in and I could keep going if I wanted to. I bought this for something a little sturdier and personal than those tall guest check books made of cardboard and cheap plastic that snap in half after like a week of using them. I got this one in the leather type style because I thought it would be sturdier than the plasticky glitter one, that I was sure would crack and flake after the plastic got old and less pliable. I have no idea if that’s what actually happens with these. But the leather one I got is wonderful. I wasn’t expecting it to last long because of wear and tear and all that, but 2 years later with daily abuse and wear, it’s still going strong. Some things: the seams are still all together with no sign of coming apart anytime soon. The leather isn’t flaking at all except for right along the seam on the inside of the middle part where it bends. I flip that thing backwards constantly and I’m honestly surprised it’s still looking almost brand new. All the pockets are pretty cool. I had to put a piece of cardboard in the part underneath the writing pad, because overall it wasn’t as stiff and sturdy as I’d like. I think it’s on purpose for peoples preference, I like a hard surface to write on but some people might find more value in the book being flexible. About 6 months ago I ordered a ruler type thing for a hobby and it came wrapped in a piece of pretty sturdy wood to keep it from bending during shipping. It happened to be the perfect size to fit in that little pocket behind where the writing pad goes, so that was really helpful. The zipper pocket, I don’t use much, but Ill be honest. I broke the zipper pull off on purpose because sometimes (most of the time) when I went to close the book, the zipper pull would be sticking out and would keep the book from closing flat. I’d have to physically move it with my finger to get it to go back down so that the book wouldn’t be propped open by the zipper. It was a little annoying. But after I took it off it worked perfect for me. So I had to make 2 small adjustments for my personal sanity and preference but they definitely aren’t necessary. This book is awesome and really sturdy. Also it’s easy to wipe sticky syrup off of which is a plus because at least once a month somehow I get syrup dumped in my apron pocket. It’s way exceeded my expectations for its life span, and I am definitely glad I went with this one. I don’t think I’ll have to replace it anytime soon.

This book is just the right size, fits great in my apron & not sticking too far out. Love that it has a coin pouch with a zipper and multiple pockets to organize and sort receipts & cash. I've only used it for a few shifts but so far it seems like good quality & material does seem durable. I wish I would have branch out from just the plain black for one of the more colorful options. When I went into my new job a few of the other servers had the same exact one from Amazon but in various designs which looked really cute.

This server book is surprisingly functional for both industry and non-industry use. The glitter finish is not just aesthetic, as it makes the wallet easy to locate quickly inside a cluttered bag or table. The build quality is durable, and the compact size fits perfectly into small purses or cargo pockets. Its internal organization, specifically the zipper pockets and sleeves, is excellent for keeping spare cash, receipts, and a guest check pad for note-taking neatly separated. I recently took a serving shift and I didn’t have a server book, so I got this one after some time and the quality is amazing. I wanted to spray a clear coat just incase it wears down over time, but haven’t gotten the chance yet. The color is JUST what I expected. I don’t have a picture without the flash but it’s still an adorable light purple with the holographic and glitter all over. I put two pens there so far and my stickers just incase I wanted to add more on the back, has good space to use for organizing money and checks, etc. For the money in the supper pockets you have to insert at the very bottom at first then top if it makes sense since the zipper stops a little before the bottom, or just fold in half, but it’s perfect! 🎀

I got my favorite color, purple, of course. It holds everything. Fits guest checks perfectly there is a slot on both sides to slip them in to suit your preference. I love the zipper pocket that keeps the cash secure, but I took off a star because that zipper pocket does not keep coins secure. There is a gap at the bottom that pennies and dimes fall out of which is embarrassing in front of customers. I tried a few different ways to try to close the gap, I guess you could sew it but I don't have time for that so I used not an actual paper clip but one of those tiny black clips with the 2 silver thingies to block the gap. I have had it for about 2 months or so and have handled it pretty rough, I have heard a ripping sound when I went in to reach for something but I don't see any visible rips, seems sturdy so far. All in all it is comfortable in my hands, I love it. It's not to thick, not too thin, fits my apron perfectly. There is a place for everything with room to spare, easy to clean, does the job.

Very useful for those of us who work in restaurants; they look really nice.

They work good and last about a year. What you would expect considering how much it is used working.

This low-cost, high-quality folio massively improved my workday. Nothing falls out of my folder. Its thoughtful design makes it easy to organize my orders, tabs, bank, tips, reports, and those tiny pieces of paper I'm not sure what to do with.

Love love love! perfect size for a notepad to fit snug on the one side & keep all your receipts neat & tidy for the end of the day. Nice for it to have zipper pockets as well so you never have to worry about losing any change/bills!!!

This is something I think every server should have. It’s durable and easy to use. Keeps everything you need while working. All your change, your bills, your receipts and your float. Fits any serving apron like a dream. I love love love this product.
