1971 reloaded - PUMA releases the basket remix What a music DJ can do, the PUMA designers have been doing for a long time: To set up a proven basis and build something new on it. In this case, it's the PUMA Basket, the cult sneaker from 1971. The shape design was retained and - as in music - provided with features using the cut-and-edit method. The result is an upper surface consisting of three different materials. The latter consists of suede, milled leather and imitation leather and is an eye-catcher just because of its texture. The highlight, however, is the additional colour contrast of the different materials. The rest of the sneakers: From the non-slip rubber sole to the PUMA archive label on the shoe tongue to the original PUMA basket branding on the outside of the shoe.
