Don't leave home without it
Lightweight, sturdy, and very functional as a spoon and/or fork. The edge will cut through food items, so it serves as a food knife, as well. Perfect for camping, but also very handy to use in fast food places, instead of their flimsy plastic utensils.

Ultimate Titanium Spork from Japan
This utensil is solid and serves its purpose well. The material…Titanium! Lightweight and strong. Appearance: The humble spork is both fork and spoon. A unique shape, indeed. Ease of use: I use this daily, so I know that it can keep up with the other utensils in my kitchen. I do not have a dishwasher, but I am sure titanium can survive in the dishwasher. Comfort: this spork is smallish, but feels right to me. I am unsure as to why there is a hole at the end, but I am glad to know that it is there if ever I need to fasten it or hang it up on something. To conclude, the spork dish is the right shape and size for me. I am also a bit of a fork snob, and while I do not love this spork’s tines, I do respect their ability to pierce food enough to serve their purpose where needed. Made in Japan, the land of advanced metallurgy. This is totally worth the cost!

The perfection will make you weep
I don't know why a titanium spork is such a fun thing to own. But it is. I got mine as a gift and I.. just.. like.. using it. Maybe it's because what you have here is a final experience, the idealized form of a piece of technology. It's as tough as steel, it's light, it's utterly non-toxic, manages hot food without a problem, scoops up yogurt, soup and stew with aplomb, spears meat and vegys without trouble. It cleans up trivially. It will probably last about a billion years in typical use. It's got a simple, appealing shape. There's no way to improve on it. You look at it, and just know that in five hundred years, it will still be the utter epitome of utensilness. Hold it in your hand, and you feel like mankind has achieved something, finally made something that's perfect, that just works without a glitch. That's not a feeling you get often. You don't get it looking at your car, your children, your new cell phone, or your Windows PC. But you can feel it when you own this spork, and the feeling is one of relief. Finally, something in your life that just Does The Job. When mankind faces final judgment, or the heat death of the universe, or whatever ending you believe in, you'll be able to hold up your titanium spork and say "Yes, I know, mankind didn't measure up to expectations. We got a lot wrong. But look... we totally NAILED this concept." The titanium spork truly divides human accomplishment into a Before and an After. Buy one.

All the same color, not an "assortment" as advertised implying one of each color
The spork is great, light weight, and smooth, but the issue is the inaccurate listing description. They are advertised as "Color: Assorted 4-pack" giving the impression there is one of each color which would be great for camping or traveling family members to each have their own. What arrived was 4 Sporks in the same color. I went to the Snow Peak store to contact customer service and there's not link to do so through Amazon. I've added the color description from the listing.

A backpacking spork so good you'll enjoy testing it at home
Ah, the mighty titanium spork. Much as it's admired for its perfection in engineering, thinkgeek's marketing must be recognized for its genius in presenting a utensil for ultralight backpacking to the office crowd, and succeeding so well its influence is still obvious in reviews written a decade later, on another website entirely. Snow Peak probably makes the best known spork, and for good reason. It simply is what it is: lightweight, well shaped, no frills, no ill advised attempt to merge a knife into this multi-utensil. As it should be, sharp edges are unwelcome in your mouth; the edge of the spoon is plenty to cut through softer foods as you might with a fork edge, and if you need to cut meat or anything tougher, you'll want to hold the food with this spork while cutting with a real knife. The tines are sharp and deep enough to spear food efficiently, and the bowl is deep enough and shaped such that it's no problem to scoop up broth and not have it all fall out. Indeed, for a certain kind of mixed-texture food such as stews or, surprisingly enough, enchiladas, this spork exceeds conventional flatware hands down. Even though I bought it for backpacking, I think its versatility makes it a preferred utensil for any camping or picnic setting, where having both a spoon and fork would be helpful but also inconvenient and messy. However, it must be noted that this spork has a somewhat different mouthfeel from stainless steel flatware. The titanium has a satin finish rather than smooth mirror, which feels fine on your lips, but some might find it feels abrasive on very sensitive teeth. It's not bad at all, but it may take a little getting used to if you've always used very smooth utensils.

Perfect replacement for the one I got so used to and then lost.
I found one of these in an alley one day while delivering some stuff in a box truck. Actually not the first time I've found a thing in an alley and it became my favorite of that thing. This spoon had been run over by multiple cars, from the look of it, but I buffed out the gravel marks with a smooth grinding wheel and kept it in my backpack for three years. I used this thing for oatmeal in the morning for the most part but have also used it as a fork for to go meals eaten on a train commute home. I've taken it camping and, oddly enough, ran it over with my own car once. Well, needless to say, this EDC part of my life was priceless and I was upset to reach toward my backpack one day to find it missing. I did not hesitate to find the exact one here on Amazon and buy it. This new spork now resides in the same place my original one did and I use the heck out of it. Obviously, it's much smoother so I like this new one more. Just know that you can run it over with a car and, while it may take marks from the surface it's lying on, it won't flatten out the spoon aspect of it. Super sturdy, perfect size, quite flat for versatile storage options but I can't call it scratch resistant. It's fairly to very scratch resistant but just don't abuse it and you'll be fine. I don't know why they're suggesting "bendability" below as a review topic because it's titanium, it doesn't bend. LOL

Costly but quality product!
it's made of titanium and from japan, lightweight and strong enough for me to use it during my daily lunch! This officially helps me replace those plastic spoon and fork with just a spork!
