Lean Game Changer!
If you have wondered about how to get a lean culture going or fixed at your company this book is the game-changer.I learned immediately about the mistakes I had made.Plus, I learned what to do to fix my mistakes and the future game plan to follow so I and associates and clients have better success next time!Seriously I can not say enough nice things about the book and Paul's enthusiasm to share the lean experience.Order a copy, break out a fresh highlighter... get ready for few ah-ha moments. I had a few and even some head slappers where I said, "Now I get it!"

Fantastic, and life changing
Lean should be fun! I used to organize, plan and do things in batches. But Paul Akers has found that small improvements to Anything, daily, is far more fun, efficient and energizing. I use this principles from this book in my professional service business and in my life, and within just a few days, see real results to organizing everything more efficiently. Spend 2 second every day simplifying something, make it better, and you will see compounding change over time. Read this book!

shove it in your bosses face when explaining why something isnt actually efficiant as it looks on paper
got it cause my boss es kept annoying us/me about lean and using the book as a bible type object when referencing lean. they did streamline a lot of things BUT they did not understand that some of these new processes that looked time efficient on paper were resource/personnel inefficient. even after the people working the floor were asked for their opinions.I had to frame my complaint/solution like a math problem for them to even go like "well bring it up at the next meeting."but what do I know, I actually work on the floor.

Great ideas - amateurish production.
I would definitely give this book five stars except for the quality of the production. Paul has made this book very accessible in an area (Lean) that is full of highly technical, jargony books, but the form is distracting to the message. This book did get me very excited about Lean ideas, and I would recommend it to others, but I would love to see a new edition that has been recreated with the same quality and simplicity that the lean philosophy communicates.

One of my favorite books ever!
I have listened to and read all 3 editions of this audiobook and ebook. I also love the fastcap YouTube videos. There is so much to learn about lean manufacturing, it can be overwhelming at first. But thankfully Paul makes it so easy to understand the basic ideas and lean principles, that anyone can learn and apply in there everyday life. NO MORE excuses people! Get Lean, and love yourself for it.

Much better than expected
Overall, this is a great book if you plan on rolling out Lean concepts in your business. This is a unique take on how a business owner made the decision to roll-out Lean into his business. He describes the ups and downs, successes and failures he experienced in rolling out this process. It will definitely help provide additional context and ideas for how to better roll out Lean concepts. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone considering rolling out Lean, it will help you avoid stumbling blocks.

Lean is simple...
...but not easy. Wonderful book illustrating core concepts in plain English. A must read from people just interested in Lea to hardcore fanatics of Lean.
