Good hide
Only just on the cool side of the tank as a hide if it catches any heat on it from a heat lamp it's scorching and dangerously hot smaller than I expected and it's not slate it's slate effect I wasn't best impressed for the price I expect slate

Too light for a tortoise
This was too light and my three year old tortoise could easily move it round. The opening was a little too small for my tortoise (my poor judgement when I chose it). We tried to enlarge the opening, but it was hollow, so we couldn’t then use it. It looked good and would be fine for a very young tortoise or other reptile.

Worth Every Dollar - Solid design and build.
Purchased this decor to used as a hideaway. The build quality is amazing, packaging was really good as well. Design is also great but would have loved some creases so you can attach some moss on it. But overall it's a great product and will highly recommend this. Found a way to attach a moss...

A great, decent sized cave!
I purchased this for my 55 gallon tank that I've just set up recently and I think it looks great. It's very thick and sturdy and I think it was a great price for what you get. I included pictures with measuring tape so you can see about how big it is, for me it was a perfect size. There are 2 holes on the bottom, probably from the molding it came out of. If you get this for a fish tank, make sure to turn it over and let it fill with water so it doesn't float. It does come with a slight chemical smell, but if you just take a soft bristle toothbrush and some light antibacterial (preferably unscented) soap and give it a good scrub in every crevice and rinse thoroughly, it goes away. All in all a great purchase for reptiles or fish.

Great hide
I bought this thinking I could use this for a baby beaded dragon. Unfortunately, she was already too big for the hide. The size is great and sturdy and thick good quality for the money. It's just my girl is a giant bread and will be massive I wasn't thinking when I bought it. It was my mistake.
