Great Book
I purchased this book but doesn't appear to be a way for me to leave feedback. Here it is a Great book I am a woodworker working mostly in solid wood I saw the photo of the cover and thought what the heck. the book is informing with how to, and how is it, done. I probably will never use the veneering portion but found it very interesting like the know how tips tricks etc. I may if I can slice some thin veneer with my mill try some. ( my mill can cut bit thicker than 1/8" ) and i probably could run it thru the sander to get it thinnerIf you have a interest or would like to know more information like i did this book is for you I would say that even someone who does veneering ,would or could use some of the informationGreat book

An almost comprehensive book on the theme
An almost comprehensive book on the theme. It will cover most of the subject on veneering, a few of them in an odd way (at last for me - never saw before). It is interesting veneering looks lost its place in the craftsman "arsenal" now a days - I remember how that was popular at the 1970-80s. I loved to see a modern refresh on the theme... I would include one more technique there: router inlay for veneer patching. I use that with very satisfied results.

It's got some good info.
It's got some good info.....not an advanced approach however. If your new to veneering get this for sure. If your experienced you might try something else or Chk out at the library for his couple new ideas. I didn't think the price justified those couple ideas. But the book layout itself is good the pic's are clear and he's obviously an advanced artesian and knows what he's doing.

Scott Grove gets to it all.
I went to two of his classes at the AWFS convention and he follows the book cover to cover.

Great how-to and reference guide for any woodworker
This is an amazing book. As a woodworker, Scott has inspired me to extend my skills into using more advanced veneering techniques. Scott show's you how to make that leap in this book.

Beautiful book!
This is a fantastic book... I own just about every book out there on the subject of deocorative veneering and Scott Grove's contribution takes the cake. He covers some of the basics of veneering and, obviously, some advanced methods and techniques. The book is an excellent read and the photography is great. Two thumbs way up on this one! A new approach to overwritten topic.

A very good source of information
The book is concise and to the point about techniques that work and ones that are a waste of time. It doesn't over emphasize chapters on wood species and grain structure, instead focusing on methodology. Anyone from a beginner to a seasoned pro can find value in this book.

The ideal complement to one of Scott’s courses
Wonderfully practical, full of hands-on advice and guidance. I had little idea of the possibilities of using veneer till I went on one of Scott’s courses - the book saved me taking notes (or forgetting most of what he said or demonstrated).
