Best tough flash drive
These are my favorite USB drives for emergency backups. They're a little bulky, but nearly indestructible and are a great way to store essential files on the go to ensure you keep your info like old photos and records in case of an emergency like fires or flooding.

Works for me.
I have 8 of these units in service now, anywhere from 16 Gig to 128 Gig, with one rubber casing, and the other 7 in the "Survivor" tubes. They are doing laptop backup, home and car audio, amateur radio work, riding in my pocket on the choppers, etc. And I have yet to lose so much as one binary bit of data. Lessons learned over 5 years: The first (16 Gig) rubber casing unit I bought did have the casing pull off after about 8 months. Super glue in the casing (at a static station) restored it with no data lost. That drove me to the Survivor series. Do glue the black rubber rings to the ends of the tubes unless your in really tight quarters for fit. You do NOT want to see what happens when one of those rings gets down a running garbage disposal. I have had no trouble with data integrity on Windows, Linux, Mac, or our own proprietary operating systems. I have had a 64 Gig survivor spend around 20 minutes under 18 feet of water, and go like a scalded cat error free once it was given 5 minutes in front of a hot (hair) blow dryer. Also, I did have a 32 Gig Survivor trip an alert on a security scanner one time at the airport (in Canada). But we could not get the problem to repeat itself on any other scanner at that airport, or any other airport after about 45 tries to duplicate the problem. I even contacted Corsair, and up until that time anyway, I was the only one to report the "false alarm" to them. It's probably about 3 more weeks until my files will dictate another unit, at which point I'll pick up a 256 Gig Survivor. Also of note, the newest 128 Gig unit I bought is about .25 inch shorter than the earlier Survivors. It makes for an easier ride through the day in your pocket for some reason. 5 stars for the Survivors from my perspective.

Good and durable
I stuck VenToy and a bunch of Linux distros on it. Holds up well and fits them all nicely. I don't think it's actually waterproof but I'm sure it's water resistant which is all I need. They should bring it back with a USB-C option.

Perfect for the long haul
Oh man this flash drive is TOUGH. I had my last flash drive for over 10 years of continuous use before it got corrupted an old let me tell you, THAT was a bad day. Fear not, I was able to recover everything though a little bit of computer magic, but the flash drive was bricked. I knew that my next flash drive would need to be a tough one to handle the wear and tear I'd put it through as a teacher and a grad student. Let me tell you, this is the TOUGHEST flash drive on the market. It's stored in a metal tube with rubber bumpers. When closed, it is SEALED. This little dude is here for the long haul. Works perfectly and doesn't get mad at being tossed around in my backpack daily. Plug and play functionality. 10/10 would recommend.

Quick, Secure and spacious.
Just plug it into a USB 3 port and it works. I like that any data I put on it is safe from the elements.

Rugged
Great quality fell into a river and was fine

Solid and reliable
I have an older, 32MB version of this flash drive and the changes are cosmetic. Still the best hardened case to protect the drive when not in use. You can break it, but only if you want to.

Great Product
Great product, holding up very well so far.

Unstable Transfer Speed
Once single file exceeds aroud 5GB, transfer speed would drop from 150-180m/s to 10-20m/s, which is kind of weird.

robust and reliable
Awesome, this is my second one. Only updating because first one is several years old now and I want to secure my data. Retiring and re-purposing old one to a back up device now.
