Worked GREAT FOR retreival of vacuum nosal attachment out of a heating duct ! Last night AND plan on using a lot more in the future with visual inspection of car issues and any other uses that may arise ! Who knows what I'll use it for next ? Anyway it works GREAT The focus and zoom and resolution all GOOD can't complain for the price too ! The app is good enough BUT not great it worked on two phones I got ! It's basic not much to it but work's ! Thanks hope it lasts me a long time for when I need it too .

FIRST OFF! this unit stopped working within 40 days of delivery. The Wifi stopped working and i cannot connect to it with multiple trys on numerous devices.Before this it worked flawlessly. Out of the box it worked great. No issues. I used it daily to examine engine cylinders and cam shafts etc. It does get blurry if you are too close. I love the 1 button photo to show my customers. It left me on a very important job today and i spent 2 hrs trying to get it to show up as a wifi network to no avail. Amazon agreed to refund me even tho my 30 days had just expired. I will buy another one right away but not this brand even though i absolutly love the unit. I need something that will last for at least a year or two.

This unit is 2.5mm narrower than my first USB borescope. That translates directly to versatility, letting you navigate smaller spaces.The smartphone user interface uses an app, and requires the smartphone to log in to a password-protected WiFi access point in the borescope itself. This system enables a lot more features, like recording still pics and video. Even more important to me, it gives me the ability to see what the borescope sees, even as I walk to where it is going, and look for it. I can see when it sees me. That really helps. Also, I can put the smartphone in a place that is easy to look at while I use the borescope, which saves my back and neck.The focal range is generous, decent from about 3 inches, and usable far beyond that.Finally, the high resolution video enables pretty extensive digital zoom, while maintaining useful resolution in-frame. This partially compensates for the fixed focus (almost all borescopes have fixed focus) by allowing you to keep the scope at a good distance for focus, yet still see a closeup picture.This is a quantum leap over my old USB borescope, which used my laptop as a display, was 8mm wide, less than half as long, had no digital zoom, and poor focal range. If you ever owned a borescope, this one is probably better, and not the biggest investment.

Nothing wrong with the unit but I did return it. It worked just as advertised on my Galaxy S8+ phone. But I really wanted it to use with my Asus Zenpad tablet. The software wouldn't run on it. The app would just crash when trying to load it.The Endoscope is advertised to run on Android 4.0 and up but this is not the case.My advice to a buyer would be to download the app and make sure it runs on the device you want to use with it before you make the purchase. Then you won't waste your time like I did.
