westminster pet products 08222 Wag N Tails, LB, Ducky Jerky, Dog Treat

Previously sold as Ruffin' It "Chomp'Ems", these duck jerky strips have only two ingredients listed: Duck & glycerin. Presumably the change to "Healthfuls" branding is to reflect the simple ingredients.As Chomp'Ems Duck Jerky, we bought small packets of these regularly for our *very* selective chihuahua (think "This steak is not prepared to my liking" selective...); unfortunately all of the stores in my area (and indeed all stores everywhere, I checked) have stopped carrying the duck jerky!Westminster Pet Products lists Amazon & one veterinary supply company as carrying this product, but the veterinary supply company does NOT list the *duck* jerky among their products for sale. Amazon is literally the only place to get this duck jerky right now, which is a shame because it's definitely the best I've found!The price is not bad for what you get. At $20 for a 1 pound bag, our 7(00) pound chihuahua will be well supplied for a while. We plan to vacuum seal the excess quantity to preserve freshness. Hopefully one giant bag will last long enough for this excellent duck jerky to find wider distribution! (I certainly hope it isn't being discontinued?!?)Dime-sized pieces of Healthfuls duck jerky, chewed no less than 12 chomps per piece, are the ONLY thing our tiny dog considers a "treat".I would like more detail on *where* the duck is from & how it is raised & prepared, but overall we are extremely pleased with this product & have noticed that many dogs shun their other treats once they get a taste of this.

These treats are not OLD, just - drier than normal dry, with a slightly powdery look to them. Mom tasted one (she does EVERY time) and said they tasted fine, but still - I'm a helicopter pet parent. As far as Cooper is concerned they're freaking delicious. They're his favorite! Also: I'm used to getting these 5 for $2.50 elsewhere and in this bag I couldn't even count how many there were. The bag is just STUFFED full - so I feel as long as they're reasonably good quality (they are) I really have no reason to complain. I'm glad I found these on Amazon.

I have been buying these for a while because my Pit loves them. I ordered two 1 lb bags so we'd have a supply through the holidays. Both were unbelievably stale. One so much so that the strips just crumbled when I took them out of the bag. I expect much more!

You can break them into pieces as a treat,instead of giving an entire piece. It's a good reward.

Hey guys if you want your dog happy healthy and well behaved this is your deal....This delicious treat comes in chicken and duck don't get me wrong my dog loves the treats. WHEN I TAKE HIM TO THE PARK AND WHISTLE HE KNOWS ITS TREAT TIME. YOU GOTTA LOVE YOUR DOGS AS MUCH AS DO SO TREAT HIM WELL RUFFIN TREATS ARE NUTRITIONAL. I RECOMMEND THIS TREAT

My dogs are very picky eaters but they don't hesitate to grab one of these smells really good very happy we'll buy more

Your puppy may have a problem with choking they are a little too big for my 8 week old.

My dog loves these but not sure about ingredients n where made. It's a bit expensive. Have to research more. My dog did love them though
