Sturdy, well made.
I bought this to replace the inexpensive (read: CHEAP) holster that came with my PD35. I removed the elastic lanyards for daily use because I prefer the Velcro flap. I didn't really need the battery box, but I couldn't find any of these without it.It's a little stiff at fist, but the material breaks in a little bit with use. The Velcro closure is VERY good, and not at all like some of the cheaper closures I've experienced on a lot of products. It gets daily use at work, and it's really not showing any signs of giving up its grip.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase, and I wish that Fenix would ship these holsters with their lights. I'd be happy to pay a few extra dollars to get one of these in the box.

Very Poorly Designed Flashlight Holster
I just purchased this as a replacement for the (cheaply constructed) flashlight holster that my Fenix LD 22 flashlight came with, which after 7 months is falling apart. While the ALP-MT holster it looks to be well made, it's a poorly designed holster that doesn't work for the LD 22 that Fenix states it's made to carry.1. As is, out of the box, the holster is too short to accommodate the length of the LD 22.2. The holster doesn't come with instructions and I can't figure out how the bungee cord is supposed to work, but I was able to figure out that the cover that flips over the top of the flash light and velcros down to secure it, with some work, can be removed from it's velcro fastening inside the case and pulled up to fold over the top of the flashlight. For the LD 22, you need to pull the cover out about 2" - 2-1/2" (half the length of the case) and then inside the holster, push the velcro soft loops on backside of the cover back against the hard plastic velcro hooks inside the case in order for it to be long enough to fold over the flashlight. It looks unsightly, but it could work, although, you will now have the soft loop side of the velco from the inside exposed to wear out from rubbing, etc..Even when you do this, you could easily lose the flashlight until the cordura breaks in enough to fold tightly over the flashlight and secure it.3. By pulling out and extending the cover sleeve, the design creates another issue:When you do pull the folding top up from the bottom of the case to give you the length you need, it leaves more than 2" of the solid plasitc hook side of the velcro exposed inside the case and the LD 22 or other long flashlights will rub against that and over a period of time, the black anodized finish will wear off.4. Near the bottom, on the front of the case is a large metal grommet (shown in the photo) which I assume is to drain water or allow dirt out of the case. The grommet is not flat on the inside of the case, but feels like it protrudes about an 1/8" or more into the case.It doesn't matter what flashlight one uses with this case, this one design mistake (using a metal grommet) will scratch up the exterior of the flashlight or the lens (if you store it lens down) big time.

This holster extends to fit Flashlights as long as 7"
Pros• Durable material• Hook and loop (velcro) is really strong• Top portion of the holster extends to fit flashlights up to 7" long• Can be use with other tools like a Swiss army or Gerber multitool• The battery case that holds 4 batteries is appropriate• Worth the priceCons• A bit bulky• Detachable bungee cord is a bit cumbersome when in use with a flashlight , I'm use is useful with a different device store in the holster

Does not fit PD36R!
Product does not fit for a Fenix PD36R despite the product description. My partner ordered this for his law enforcement belt and it does not come close to shutting with the flashlight inside of it. Very frustrating for 30-40$!

Doesn't fit LD22
The holster is of good quality, but is simply not appropriate for the LD22 Light - much too wide to keep the light secure. Probably better for a shorter and wider light.

Excellent quality sheath
This knife sheath is made of good quality materials for what you paid for this item and it is the best sheath I own. I recommend this sheath to all my friends and family members.

Not for a Fenix LD22 flashlight!
I'm with others, what good is the bungee cord? This listing states that it is good for a LD22, it is entirely too loose.I won't be using this holster as I like to carry a smaller flashlight, and I have a holster for a bigger light.I love my Fenix LD22 flashlight and was hoping to find a good holster for it, I'm stilling searching for a good holster.

A Fenix product.
Direct from Fenix this is a replacement for the original holster for my LD22. It’s a little big but works just fine.
