I can finally see in my garage! Installed 2 of these in the garage and WOW are they bright! I can see everything in every corner. Definitely will buy again.

We purchased this light for our new laundry room renovation. We wanted 2 things: a light that would last for many years so bulb changing as little as possible to avoid & light enough that nothing could hide or would be tripped over. This white light delivers on this fixture Working to move into a new home &, for the first time ever, have a garage (2-car) with a bare bulb midway between front/back of each space. The center round piece is about 4 inches across so a little big for me to hold securely while reaching over my head do I kept my other hand below it to stabilize until I got it going. I put the 'wings' down before installing - used these to spin it to make screwing it in easier. Bright as day even with one door open & early afternoon. About 14 inches across but not as obvious as I thought they would be. These are all some sort of plastic except for the screw. I bought these bulbs for use in my garage. I originally considered installing LED tubes, but when I happened across this product, I thought I would give it a try. The light is extremely bright and the four "wings" help direct the light. 5 stars for the light output. The light as shipped has two parts, the light itself and a 4" socket extender which is removable. After installation, I needed to take the light down for a minute and when I unscrewed the light, the socket extender fell apart. I had to carefully extract the base of the socket extender from my ceramic ceiling fixture. I'm pretty comfortable working with electricity, so this wasn't difficult for me, but for some, this could have been stressful as you have to unscrew a bare metal base from an electrical fixture.I looked at the extender and the problem is clear, they have a metal base which is crimped onto a plastic extension. If you put much force on the extension when screwing or unscrewing the bulb in, the base will come loose. Additionally, when the base came loose, one of the two internal wires in the extension also came loose. The good news is I don't need the extension in my garage, so the light was immediately back in service. I actually prefer the bulb without the extension for use in the garage. The bad news is the bulb itself uses the same construction (metal base crimped onto plastic), so it is likely vulnerable to the same problem. I suggest being very gentle when screwing the light in or out.Despite the flaws, I plan to order additional lights as the output and value proposition work for me. The only other consideration for me is the lifespan of the bulb. I'll update this review if I have any issues with the light failing during use.

I bought 4 of these the first one in January 2021. Today 7/27/22 the first one failed. They are OK lights and very bright. Not dimmable.

This light replaced a 35 pound florescent, six bulb monster which hung from our garage ceiling by a chain which I rigged several years ago. The bulbs needed replacement and were very annoying to change. It was time to simplify and this product screws into a normal electrical circuit in much the same way as a bulb fits into a lamp. The brightness is great, it weighs a few pounds and is efficient. I'll be getting more of them.

This is a good , bright light , easy to install and good price.

Very, very bright light indeed! Lights up a large area at little cost, very easy to just screw in to the light fitting.Only one downside - don't look into the light! It is a little painful, you should not state at the light for more than a second, or your retina will not thank you!Perfect for shed, where I have mine, garage, attic, large office space, etc. Too severe for domestic indoor use. It will light up your lounge for sure, but it will also be far too bright and show up every piece of dust for miles around!

I bought 6 of this led light. Unfortunately, after month, I got 2 of the light out. defective rate is high!

Al final ya se fundió una, no son muy durables, no recomendaría comprarla.Actualización: una lámpara solo duró 115 noches.

Bought 4 .2 of the metal screw in sockets easily twisted off of the plastic body of the bulb during installation before they were even tight .Super glued the other 2 metal screw parts to the plastic bulb body before installing & they worked as described.
