Vitamin K1, phylloquinone, is the most common form of vitamin K and is found in plants and green vegetables. This formula also provides the most active and bioavailable forms of vitamin K2, menaquinone-7 (MK-7) and menaquinone-4 (MK-4). Oh, I have never heard that they are considered "pre-natal".  I am taking them because they are a good, well-rounded multi vitamin that doesn't have turmeric in them, because I am sensitive to turmeric.  Also, because they don't have iron in them, (or so I believe), so they are OK for menopausal women and men, who don't lose blood monthly.  Personally, I don't see why a man couldn't take them.  I hope this helps.
