Braven BRV-Pro Wireless Bluetooth Speaker With 15 Hours of Wireless Playtime, Black / Silver / Cyan

This speaker wants to be outside and lets you know when you power it on by defaulting to a mild outdoor volume. The sturdy construction, the solar charging attachment, and the impressive battery support its desire.For sound, it seems to sound better at max volume too, which is welcome since I bring this for outside work. I also use it for a small PC.As the title says I have used a JBL charge 2 and the bose soundlink mini. Overall i like the sound of JBL the best, but as with the bose, they both do not work well outside and at max volume. The Bose also sounds too bass heavy but at the same time struggles for the lowest freqs. I would place the Braven in-between for overall sound quality, but at low volumes the mids sound kinda strong.Battery life is amazing. It also keeps itself in a low power mode when not in use, but stays on. Tried to discharge it without music....nope. It was hooked to a pc, booted windows about 30 hrs later, and the battery was still good for 4 hours of music. It was even still turned on sitting at lowest volume. Definitely efficient.I have only done basic "yup, bluetooth works" testing. I dont really use bluetooth for anything, but I could not pair it with windows 7u, just my phone.

I have been looking for a good portable Bluetooth speaker for over a year. I wanted something small and rugged with high quality sound that I could take anywhere. I looked at the Beats Pill and similar models from other manufacturers, but everything I heard was missing something: sound quality, durability, reliability, form factor or price. I read a LOT of online reviews. Finally found the Braven BRV-PRO and it's everything I was looking for.High quality, rugged aluminum housing, waterproof construction that looks like it can handle any conditions you throw at it. All sorts of add-on accessories, including a solar charger that I haven't bought yet but will soon. Very good sound quality, it's not audiophile grade but I am pretty picky about this stuff and the BRV-PRO delivers in a big way. It doesn't get super loud but plenty loud enough for most uses, and the units are stackable if you buy more than one. Just a great product, well worth the investment if you're looking for an easy way to take your tunes on the road or liven up your next backyard get-together. Highly recommended.

This speaker is legit. The sound is crystal clear, and can be heard from an incredible distance for a portable speaker. It definitely is on the heavy side, but thats because its plated and rubberized for all that life throws at it. I get so many compliments on the sound quality when I take it places. I take it camping, to work (I work in a kitchen), to the lake, kayaking in Alaska... It did great and it is waterproof!! The only complaint is the back door cover. It is very sensitive. I dropped it with the cover open, and it broke. However, I contacted BRAVEN about it because I was still under warranty, and they replaced it no problem.

Purchased based on good reviews. The battery life may be good...the durability may be good....however a speaker should sound good. This one sounds like one of those beefed up Hondas with the loud vibrating "fart can". So, great on durability, sad on sound. Extremely unhappy that we wasted the money on this.

Well I usually don't review items but this one really aggravated me. I purchased this speaker after reading reviews on tons of different brands because of its amazing overall rating. Most people posted how amazing the sound was and how it is great for using outdoors... It may be built well and it may be water resistant but those things do not account for the fact that it has the volume and sound quality of a 20 dollar Walmart speaker. They screwed up by trying to get as much bass as possible out of a tiny speaker and this KILLED the sound quality and volume thatyou would expect out of a $150 speaker. Speaker lacks poorly on treble and you can't turn the volume all the way up or the bass will distort the speaker which causes the speaker to looses some volume. Sounds OK about 3/4 of the way up in my house or barn but if u wanted to use this for say a BBQ, anyone who is anymore than 10 feet away would have trouble understanding what song is playing. I do not recommend this speaker unless u plan on using its mounting feature, which costs extra, and putting it in your face while you ride your bicycle. Not worth the $150.

It is a good little speaker for the most part. One big down side is it claims to have a 15 hr battery life from full charge. I have found this to not be true. More accurate would be a 4 hr battery life. I use my to listen to audible books while I work, that being said I work in a factory and the sound quality is good to where I can hear the speaker over the sound of the Machinery. I have to charge my speaker about 1 time during and 8 hr shift and usually 2 during a 12 hr shift.

This Speaker goes and goes forever duude!, u can listen to music about 8 hours, u can make a little rave whenever you are, i took this bad boy to the beach and the quality of the sound was amazing, we where dancing until dawn and the speaker still got juice for us!

Awesome speaker, fast delivery

Day 1, put in bath, no issue, treble a bit muffled on taking out, a swift shake sorted that.Day 2, got knocked off side, 5 foot drop into concrete, not sure i can find where it impacted, no issues.Day 3, got the solar panel, nice, add's about 1 or 2 dots a day, which if I take it fully charged is enough to cover calls for a week in the field.Day 4, ordered one for my brother after seeing his eyes when I showed him mine...

Excelente relación costo beneficio y el sonido es bastante bueno para una bocina de ese tamaño.Sincroniza bastante rápido, y la batería dura lo suficiente.Cabe mencionar que desde el primer día tuve la.mala suerte de dejarla caer de una altura considerable y la bocina funciona perfectamente.

Absolutely brilliant blue tooth speaker - I already had a Braven that my son “borrowed” so decided to donate that to him & buy myself another. Major improvement in that the cap is attached where the other one was loose & so prone to being mislaid
