Beautiful Huge Dessert Book.So many amazing recipes. Great book to give as a gift!

While the images and layout of the book is great, all of the recipes I've tried were a failure. Some recipes yield such a small amount of batter or frosting. I made a caramel cake and the recipe called for two 9 inch round pans, but the batter yield was so small each cake turned out extremely thin and oddly dense. I made a chocolate cake and it only called for 2 tablespoon of coco powder, making it taste bland and like baking soda. All of the other recipes I tried had some sort of issue in some capacity.

I've tried three recipes from this cookbook and, so far, all of them have been awful. The macaron recipe, the carrot cake recipe, and the yogurt blueberry pie were massively disappointing. The carrot cake, in fact, was inedible due to the amount of baking soda in the recipe. This is a great example of don't judge a book by its cover: it's a beautiful-looking book, but I would not recommend buying it to anyone.
