This order, all 3 were good
I dunno why, but I like these. No, they don’t taste like Chamoy, but it’s an acquired taste I guess? In the past, I’ve gotten some, let’s say, not fresh product. This round, all three (3) were firm, not mushy in middle and not too tough. Always well packed and never leaked

A Big Mess
The only way to eat this pickle is to do so wearing a plastic smock, plastic gloves, outside away from public view. Or barring those, completely naked under a waterfall. From the moment you open the package, you and your surroundings will look they were involved in a 1980’s slasher movie. This product will have you quoting Macbeth, “ “Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood clean from my hand?” Nope. It’s on there for good. Your clothes, hands, lips and teeth will be crimson and no amount of scrubbing is going to fix your clothes. Is the flavor worth the mess? Nope. Salty, sour and mushy but where’s the unique spicy flavor? No where to be found. Gross all the way around.

Not Your Average Chamoy Pickle – And That’s the Point
Hear me out… writing yhis because it’s my 4th time purchasing these.I get it—this pickle is definitely an acquired taste. If you’re a gringo, this might not be for you.I grew up in Latin America, surrounded by all kinds of chamoy brands. And trust me, not all chamoy is the same. Some are on the sweeter side, but others (like this one) lean more into the sour, salty, and tangy side of things. This pickle? It’s heavy on that sour and salty chamoy flavor, with just a touch of medium/hot heat. So if you’re looking for a sweet candy-style chamoy, this ain’t it. But if you were raised in Mexico like me—where chamoy often packs a punch—this one hits the spot.Yes, it stains. The package clearly states it contains Red 40. I get that not everyone loves the idea of Red 40, but honestly, eating this on special occasions isn’t going to hurt.Final verdict: if you’re in it for the experience, know what you’re getting into—this is for the sour-salty chamoy lovers out there. If you didn’t grow up with that flavor profile, it might be a shock to the taste buds. But for those of us who did? It’s perfect.

Red fingers
I do like these. Taste good. Almost sour. Size thickness can vary. Be prepared to have stained fingers and lips for a bit and do some hard scrubbing to get off.

Disappointing but not terrible
As a Chamoy and pickle addict, I was stoked to try these. Paid the ridiculous $30 for 3 pickles because I *had* to try them. The good: They’re quite huge. They do have a very slight, barely detectable taste of Chamoy. They taste ok. Probably worth trying if you’re a pickle & Chamoy addict, and you’re dying of curiosity as I was.The bad: They don’t taste much like Chamoy, and pretty sure the red juice is just red-dyed vinegar. Other than the barely there taste of chamoy, there’s no real flavor. No garlic, no spice, just very VERY salty. The ugly: they will leave your fingers and fingernails a deep red that will linger for a couple days. All that said, I would recommend them if you’re a curious addict as I said above. Even better if you can split the order with someone. I did enjoy them cut into spears and eaten one spear at a time.

Beyond sour!
Love the taste of these things and take it from a guy who eats whole lemons and limes with salt on them, these things are the most sour things I have ever tasted! Get rid of the permanent red dye and I would eat more of them. You have to eat these as carefully as handling fireworks. They will stain EVERYTHING!

Just SALTY!!!
I eat and make all types of pickled products and I can't taste anything but salt when eating these. I bought 3 and 2.75 went in the trash. No chamoy flavor at all. As others mentioned the red food coloring stains everything. I had red fingers all day from handling these.
