This multi-tool has some good and some not so good features: I love the punch that unscrews so a cleaning rod can be used. The pick is a pick. The file isn't sharp or defined and pretty much useless. The blade is super sharp but I (personally) don't like the tanto profile (for resharpening). The two 1911 wrenches are nice but not deburred and the edges are fairly sharp. The small Allens for pistol optics and lights stored in the tool is useful and better than having them loose in my range bag. The best feature, which also happens to be the biggest caviet is the hex bit holder. The hex bits are 5mm hex and NOT the standard 1/4" so you're stuck with using the ones provided and cannot replace or swap them. The hex driver ability was my main drive for purchasing so it was a bit of a disappointment. Overall potentially a good range/pistol tool with limited uses and adaptability.

I wasn’t sure but decided to try it and it turned out to be a great idea. Already had to use it. It had the exact tool I needed.

This is a quality made item. A great size for the range bag. Definitely has useful features that fit modern red dot sights.

But recently, I became aware of and introduce myself to Real Avid gun tools. They are remarkably awesome, and any gun collector, major or minor, like myself can find the task of cleaning, modifying, or caring for your collection is a whole lot easier with Real Avid Tools. I have to date purchase the 1911 Smart Wrench, the 1911 Field Guide Clam, the Gun Tool Pro-X, and the Pistol Tool, all of which are made by Real Avid, and all of which are tools that the major or minor collector will find useful and time saving. They are quality made to last a lifetime. I only wish that the Pistol Tool came with a belt carrier as does the Gun Tool Pro-X. If it becomes available, I will purchase it too. Additionally, I will be purchasing the Gun Tool Pro-AR-15, the AR-15 Scraper, the AR-15 Cleaning Kit, and the Universal Rod System Clean Kit, as soon as my budget will allow me to indulge in the finest of tools.

The tool is exactly as advertised and is well made. Has been very solid thus far, screwdriver works great and the knife is of decent quality. No problems with the push as others have stated, but I can see where they are coming from (repeated use may make it become loose, but I've yet to come across a situation where I need to detach it). Overall very happy with the tool and price point
