Excellent Clock / Alexa device
I don't usually write reviews, but I was rather shocked by the number of bad reviews on this device, I've had a very good experience with this Alexa Clock so I wanted to share this with everyone.I had no problems putting it on my wifi (yes, I did download their application as it asks you to). I also found their email support to be very responsive and always answered my questions. I have also applied updates that fixed issues and added features. Regarding sound quality - no this is not meant to be a quality speaker, it's very small and compact - ideal as a clock / alarm (and can do radio function also with Routiines) to wake you up. I use it to wake up to music, you can do this using the Alexa Application on your phone and setting up a routine - this is VERY simple to do, just google it. You can set up multiple days / times to wake you up to music (any service you have linked to your Alexa account - I use Spotify). You could also use it to play a radio station to wake you up by using Alexa routines and linking Radio.com application (free) to your Alexa account. Things I love about it: 1) Large, VERY easy to read display, 2) Looks nice and is very compact, 3) If you lose power, it automatically reconnect to the internet and set the proper time (awesome - just this feature makes it worth $20), 4) Provides all the basic Alexa functionality, 5) Alerts you to Alexa notifications (even my expensive Sonos One Alexa devices don't do this), 6) You can shut off the microphone if you don't want it listening in (red light indicates the microphone is off), 7) Picks up my voice from well across the room - even when there is background noise, 8) Auto-dims the display when I turn out the lights (nice feature so its not too bright by your bed).Like ANY Alexa device that isn't made by Amazon, you can't use the "Drop In" function on this device - since Amazon only allows that on devices they make (please complain to Amazon about this, my $200 each Sonos Ones with Alexa can't do drop-in either).Overall I think this is a terrific device for a terrific price, I am considering getting more for my other bed rooms. If you have a problem, eMail the company and ask for help, I found them very responsive !

WiFi Bedroom alarm clock also serves as nightlight plus Alexa assistant!
It's a bit smaller than the red LED bedroom clock that died but I can still read it easily at night without my glasses so that's the main requirement. Also, I was so tired of the having to correct the time on the red LED 'AcuRite' every 3 weeks (kept getting behind) and I've had poor luck with those 'Atomic' clocks that use radio/satellite signals to keep time. So, this time I looked for a clock that set itself via internet. And I couldn't be happier with this Reason ONE smart clock.Ok, the instructions are minimal but the app worked to get it set up in about 15min and as soon as it was connected to my WiFi it was perfect time. In the 2 weeks I've had it, we've already had several power outages (hours) and as soon as the power and internet returns it resets itself to perfect time. Love it! No more internal batteries trying to keep the time accurate (they never did a very good job on any of my red LED clocks).Speaking of red LED, after years (decades?) of always having one of those types, I didn't know how I would like a white display. It's actually quite pleasant to look at. At night (or whenever the room ambient light is low) it dims itself automatically. We usually use 1 of those battery candles for a night light but the white display (unlike the red LEDs) actually provides enough of a glow in the dark room to server as a night light without being hard on the eyes (or eye) opening from sleep. For me, I would be willing to buy this clock for just those features - nice display and keeping accurate time via the internet. The built-in Alexa assistant is really icing on the cake. It's our first one. I've been enjoying turning on/off my living room lamp (I had to use an app to do so remotely till now), getting weather updates, listening to news, playing a little music and answering the trivia question of the day. The display shows a cute little face when interacting with Alexa and you can always hit the button on the top to interrupt whatever Alexa is doing if you forget what to say to make it stop. This is definitely the best bedroom alarm clock we've owned so far. I would buy another if a power outage fries this one too.

Edit : It's a clock, LED does this but read
This was a great clock. Connected to the internet, could turn off Alexa compatibility easily, was always accurate and it was just there, dimming appropriately. However, now the LED is burning out (see pic). I don't live in a time zone that goes above 59 minutes on a clock so I'm stumped... It almost lasted 9 months. I hope this company honors defective products (spoiler, they don't, it's made in a China sweatshop). However, let me say this, especially in light of reading through different reviews with similar experiences: I've noticed the messed up numbers only happen late at night. I don't see it ever during the day and made sure to check it when it was at around the same time.Update for those reading: Coming back over a year later to update this and let me tell you; there are still LED issues, but when this clock went out of stock, in order to add to different rooms, it sucked. I desperately tried to find a smart clock that worked with Alexa for in-room devices but they were gimmicky, over-priced and seemed more like a Bed Bath and Beyond nightstand alarm clock in a dorm room in 2003.I like this clock, it's simple and other than the burnout LED, it's reliable for telling time which is what I want for a clock. Now they're available for sale again and there's little chance ordering more for other rooms will not result in covert spying by China (you're thinking it too), but it does its job to the fullest and good luck stealing my identity and predatory student debt that goes along with it.

Smart Alarm
It was easy to set up, connect to phone/wifi/amazon account. At first Alexa didn't work properly (was not responding) but after asking here what to do the seller replied to do a firmware update and that fixed the problem. It works perfectly now. Great little sime alarm clock with Alexa and voice command. Just what I was looking for.
