The best "bang-for-your-buck" watch you'll ever buy!
I don't write reviews often, but honestly this watch deserves it. I'm extremely picky when it comes to what I put on my wrist. I always prefer to wear something useful, but I'm not always in the mood to wear a smartwatch. When I was looking for my newest watch, I had a few "must-have" features on my list.1. It has to be quarts. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the artwork of a well-crafted mechanical watch, but I don't wear watches because I appreciate art. Watches are a tool for me, and I prefer my tools to be accurate.2. It has to be solar powered. If there's anything I truly hate about smartwatches, it's that I constantly have to be thinking about battery life.3. It has to be water resistant. I don't want to have to worry about my watch when I'm in the rain, or sweating, or unexpectedly wet for any reason.4. It must have, not only a date indicator, but a DAY indicator as well. Probably a skill issue on my part, but I don't always remember what day it is. I'd like my watch to keep track.5. It has to be versatile. I don't always like feeling like I need to have multiple watches to fit multiple occasions. If I can wear a watch more casually AND also wear it in more formal dress styles then it is all that much more likely that I'm gonna choose this watch as my go to watch for any kind of travel.I spent a lot of time trying to find a watch that, not only fit all of this criteria, but also wasn't thousands of dollars. This watch knocks it out of the park on every conceivable level. Not only does it fit all of my picky ass criteria, but its also got other features on top of it. The slide rule bezel is definitely a nice add-on if you're like me, and you don't always wanna pull out your phone and ask Siri for every kind of conversion or calculation. And the lum on this watch is fantastic too. Any amount of regular, interior light will make the hands and hour markers glow for hours on end. I've woken up in the middle of the night several times and, even in pitch darkness, I can still easily glance at my wrist and see exactly what time it is, no problem! Even when I first pulled this watch out of the box, I was impressed. All I had to do was press in the crown, and the watch came to life. The hands started spinning and perfectly aligned themselves with the time. After I gave it the correct time zone, it was good to go. Once the initial setup is finished, you can basically forget about this watch. The perpetual calendar will keep track of not only the date but the exact month and leap year, so it will always know exactly how many days there are in the month. Then, so long as you live in the US, Europe, Japan, or a few other places in range of the atomic radio towers, this watch will automatically update itself every night, at 2am while you sleep. Even if it doesn't catch the signal one night, don't worry about it. The watch is super accurate on it's own anyway. It need only to get a good signal ONCE every few months or so and it will always keep perfect time. The only possible negatives I can come up with for this watch are extremely nit-picky. To begin with the most obvious negative: The watch's face is busy as HELL, and if you don't have very good vision you'll probably struggle to read the tiny numbers and letters scattered all over the watch face. Also the strap kinda sucks, but just get yourself a good NATO or something else that you like and you're all set. Just keep in mind this watch's odd lug width of 23mm and the fact that the curved spring bars sit super close to the case so you likely won't be able to cram any thick watch straps through. I just put a 22mm elastic strap on it and I couldn't be happier. I also kinda wish it had an alarm function, but this watch has so many features, it's tough for me to really consider this a negative. Lastly, the alignment isn't PERFECT, but that is such an extreme nit-pick that I kinda feel torn even bringing it up. Its so subtle that most people will never even notice it, but if you get REALLY close and squint, you can see that the second hand is like half-a-width of a hair off on some of the second markers. Like I said, BARELY noticeable. Only the most anal of perfectionists would ever be bothered by it.Overall,Pros:- Solar/Quarts(So super accurate and lasts forever)- Day/Date Indicator(Not super important to some, but it's a good feature that a surprising amount of watches don't have)- Very pretty and still versatile- Excellent lumCons(All super nit-picky):- Face is very busy- Strap is kinda crappy- No alarmIf you think you'll like this watch, just get it. The watch is so nice, and at the price you can get it at($350 when I bought it), It's a no brainer. The bang-for-your-buck ratio is INSANE!

A Great Watch at a Good Price
I already have a Citizen Promaster Skyhawk AT that I purchased about 5 years ago. However, I have always wanted one of the Citizen Blue Angels AT watches as well. When I saw the price drop last week, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. It is very handsome and fairly easy to use, considering all the multi-functions this watch has. My only concern is the leather band. It is leather covered soft plastic, and probably won’t last very long. I’ll have to keep my eyes peeled for metal replacement bands that fit the watch itself. Having been in the Navy, and served aboard an Aircraft Carrier (USS Coral Sea (CVA-43)), it was a natural choice. A fitting watch for one of the world’s best flight demonstration units!

Very accurate and multi-featured watch
This is the third Citizen Blue Angels Citizen watch I have owned. Their accuracy is exceptional since it is adjusted three times each night via radio signal from Ft. Collins. It is a good looking timepiece that can be used as a chronograph/stopwatch.

Delivered without the instruction manual.
The watch was fine, but the lack of instructions made it obvious that it had been previously opened. Never the less, I’m satisfied with the product. Instructions are available on line.
