As always
Keri Arthur my dear you've done it again just when I think eh I won't like this one, I end up not putting the book down until it's finished. Definitely worth the read as are all her books.

I will definitely be reading on!
I really enjoyed this. This series is clearly tied to the Nikki and Michael series. I've now read the first in each, and cannot for the life of me figure out which one I'm supposed to be reading first, so I'm just going to carry on with one in each until I'm done. These are finished series, 3 here and 4 in Nikki and Michael. If you've read and like her Lizzie Grace series (one of my current favorites), this has the same feel for me.What a ride! (Same with N&M) So many abilities, and magic, and witches, and shifters, and WOW, so much fun. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the UF/PNR genre. These lean further toward the UF end of the spectrum than say, her Souls of Fire series (which was WAY too far the PNR end of the scale for me. I need at least a 60/40 plot to sex ratio.). This was an action packed ride while Jon and Madeline race to rescue abducted teens, including Madeline's nephew. Who is abducting them, and why? Danger lurks everywhere, and they don't have many allies, not that they can bring into this dangerous situation and expect them to believe, or survive. I will absolutely be reading on.

Better than I expected
I liked the author's Riley series, had problems with her Darkness books, and didn't like Emberley at all. It made me hesitant to try another series, but I had some free time and needed some light reading, so I gave this book a try. It filled my need for a pleasant, non-controversial, and uncomplicated way to pass a few hours. It did get VERY tedious when the main female character constantly pushed away the male love interest time after time, and her victiomhood was a badge displayed so prominently that it quickly got under my skin, but the writing was good, the plot moved along nicely, and the heroine and hero lived happily ever after. Just what I needed. Sometimes it is nice to know what is about to happen in a book - there is comfort in that certainty. The world building was slightly lacking, but I didn't think it made the story less satisfying as a paranormal romance. Maybe her other books in the series will explain the magical systems and how that world differs from our own, but I don't like it when those basics aren't explained right from the beginning. It's just a pet peeve of mine.If you are looking for a quick, simple read, this book may be of interest to you.

Love this series
Keri Arthur did it again. This new series is AMAZING. I love the Michael and Nikki series so I love that she decided to do more books that show the characters from the Damask Circle. I can't wait to read the rest!

Interesting....
I found this book to be interesting enough but not quite as good as a lot of K Arthurs' other books. Perhaps it is a little slow in getting to some background facts of the actual Damask Circle and what it represents. I do enjoy this author very much and will continue to read her next books in this series...

Totally Worthwhile
This is a very good read. I discovered Keri through her Riley Jensen series and this book did not disappoint. :) I can't wait to read the others.

This is a 99 cent book
So many issues so little time. Pretty much a 5 chapter book repeated over and over. Not well written poor plot and any woman who sits around waiting a year and a half for any man to get his head out of his ass is useless. Should have been 99 cents or free 7.99 is highway robbery.

Super!!
