Niles WVC100K Stereo Volume Control with Impedance Magnification

Works as it should. Easy to install and had different color options in the box. A nice touch. Better feel than the vertical slide style switch I had before. The panel tries to be weather resistant but that depends some on the mounting situation you have. Mine was in an exterior brick wall with a power outlet already there and this unit didn't quite fit to the wall flush because my power box did not either. Overall good quality and good price.

I installed these at my last house and after 8 years of use they worked as flawlessly as the day I bought them.I purchased a new pair for a recent pool house addition at my new house. I cannot detect any sound quality degradation and it sure is nice to be able to change volume at the pool and hot tub without having to dry off and go inside. I can control system from my cell phone, but still prefer to adjust volume without getting my phone wet :)

I use this for my deck speakers.The only issue I have is that you need to make sure that it is really well sealed. I broke one after two years (water leaked in)... but I love it so much that I had to replace it! This time I bought a proper mounting box with seals rather than just using silicon caulk.would reccommend...pricy, but worth it!

I originally tried to go the "lesser" route only to turn around and buy Niles in the end. Volume control works great and more than anything - is built great and you can see it and feel it. Save yourself your initial purchase and just buy Niles the first time around.

Works exceedingly well. Replaces another make that survived 3 years. I hope this one lasts longer.

Niles quality. Far exceeds the quality of the cheaper competition.

Works well, but Niles website doesn't mention this model, and warns of counterfeit products. Perhaps Niles has an incomplete website?
