This product is cheap for a reason. Tacky, nasty PU material that feels a bit oily and leaves a smear on screen and poor gluing/construction mean plastic case tore away from leather effect wallet within two days. Was not abused or misused, just badly and cheaply made. The sort of thing that China is well known for, rubbish actually. Do not buy.

So, after spending so much on the Pixel 3 why only spend £10 on a protective cover? Well, honestly I didn't know what to go for but knew I needed some form of protection so figured this would tide me over until I've had time to research a better option. But you know what, it's worked out fine. It fits well, has a nice textured surface, allows for wireless charging and doesn't add too much bulk to the phone. The magnetic closure works well enough but a credit card in the inner slot may bulk it out enough to affect this somewhat (it can hold 1 but I don't intend to use it anyway). This magnet also keeps the cover in the open position when flipped around to the back although this does block the rear camera. Time will tell how it withstands day-to-day use but at the moment I'm happy with the purchase.

The fabric isgood, an offers a non slip grip.The magnetic closure does not hold the top cover when held upside down. This means that it may fall open and lead to damage if the phone is dropped.The plastic phone case binds to the body of the cover along a narrow strip, and I worry that after use this will seperate and allow the body of the phone to come loose.Using the camera is difficult, since folding the front cover back obscures the lens. To take a photo it is necessary to hold the phone with the cover flapping. This makes it awkward, slower and more likely that the phone will be dropped.Overall, not bad, but I wouldnt recommend it for anyone using the camera a lot.

Hi folks the Google pixel case is good value , a strong soft plastic case inside the Synthetic Leather like outer should offer good protection from light falls. The case fits perfectly which is one of the most important things . So Camera , Fingerprint sensor all work perfectly as do the soft buttons for Power , Volume etc . The magnet is strong so when you flip it open and turn back all the way , it stays put ! Gives a shallow angle on widest part of the case . I chose also because the colour options and I wanted a Turquoise based colour , to easily identify my phone , as I am quite absent minded ! A bonus feature that would be great , is a closing magnetic strap , like on my old Nokia 5 case . All in all I am very pleased . Kevin - Worcester UK

Good case for people who don't like them bulky and flimsy. Stylish and offers good protection as the phone encasement is a clear rubbery-plastic and has good grip. Requires a little extra force on the volume and lock buttons since they're covered, but it's barely an inconvenience.The outer case itself is a good material for the price and feels sturdy. However the magnet that acts as a way to keep the case closed isn't particularly strong, and won't stay closed in most circumstances, especially with a card in the card pocket.Overall, I'd say it's a good purchase.

A much better case than the price would suggest. Only really bought it to protect my pixel until o found a better one, but having received it I don't really see a need to replace it. Minor detractions: closing the flap does not lock the phone and it does adds a little more bulk to the phone than I'd like, however I'll take the extra bulk for the screen protection the flap brings.Update: Three months on and all is still good.

I'm going to review this case on what it's fundamentally supposed to do, which I believe is to 'stay closed when you close it', which is doesn't do. The magnet isn't strong enough and that's even before you put a credit card in the slot. Flaps around like crazy. Disappointed and will be ordering a new case straight away with a magnetic clip to hold it shut.

Smart cover, looks nice and phone fit well inside (3a). As it's the soft plastic surround rather than brittle, the bit that holds the phone in has not broken when dropped. However, the magnet does not hold the case shut at all, so when I have dropped my phone it fell glass down, unprotected. It also doesn't hold many cards, two max. Even without any cards though, it still wouldn't close.. So basically this makes the phone case useless for me and I'm gutted I bought the flipping thing.
