We used these for the entire Christmas season (over a month) and very impressed. A single battery (cheap generic brand batteries) in each powered them entire time (at least a month running daily). The flicker function, for use in windows to be viewed from outside, makes them a bit too dim to be useful. We used them on full brightness without flicker and they were nice and visible in the windows at night. Suction cups did fine - just make sure the window is good and clean with windex first.UPDATE 1 year later: Got these out for this Christmas Season, and I'm still impressed with these lights. We use them on the timer function, so they automatically come on (we have them come on at 4:30 PM) for 6 hours, then they are off for 18 hours. They work reliably without us having to mess with them daily.I do have one piece of advice. When you store these for a long period of time, remove the button-cell battery from the remote. When I got them out this winter the battery in the remote was dead, so it must slowly deplete the battery over time. Of course you should remove the batteries from the candles also, because they can leak acid when they go bad.

I wasn't convinced these would last more than a few days, however, so far it has been three weeks of continuous evening use. The timer function is ideal, and works like a charm. As another reviewer stated, it is easiest to have them all together in one spot when programming, as opposed to already set in your windows or various locations and running around to try having them timed the same. The candles accent the windows of my century home perfectly, and increased it's curb appeal immediately. Will definitely buy more for the sides and back of my house!

Very simple to use and surprisingly bright for a single AA. You can see it very well from the street.Love the dimmer function as well and all the attachments that make it easy to install in multiple.Very limited distance with the remote. So if you want to use the timer and for all of them to come on and off at the same time, gather them together first before turning them on and putting them in place.

Meh. Not great. I knew they would be very small, so that wasn’t an issue. But they aren’t very bright. The suction cups are terrible and only about half of them even stick on glass and most of the ones that did stick eventually fell. Also no way to get them to sit straight up when suction cupped on a window so they all look a little crooked. Remote works but you have to stand 3 feet from each light and point to it. Not impressed.

Okay these things are tiny LOL! Don't get me wrong they're very cute BUT, I had intentions of putting them in my windows so I don't think they're going to work out for my intended purpose. I will most likely send them back.

These flameless LED candles were purchased with the intention of using them in windows for the holidays. They are a great, versatile, cost-effective option, and I'm impressed after setting them up. My previous cheap-o window candles, purchased locally, were actually dangerous to use because of a design flaw that caused two of them to short out the batteries, fry the circuit board, and get extremely hot. These CXMYKE candles seem to be much safer and better designed, and I have no concern with leaving them on my windows behind draperies. Fortunately I was able to repurpose my existing gold plastic candle bases with suction cup mounts with these new LED candles. I prefer them, although the included suction mounts also seem adequate. The only negative point that stopped me from giving a 5-star rating is that the LED color temperature and brightness of the candles is not consistent. Some are distinctly more yellowish than others. It doesn't bother me much though, as they still look fine from the street. I'd like to echo the tip from other reviews to use the remote to adjust the candle settings and start the timer with the candles all together before putting them in place. I bought these candles for our windows for the Christmas season but I'm going to leave them up all winter because they look nice at night and give off a nice glow (we have many windows). You have to soak the suction cups in hot tap water for minute or two to get them to stick to the windows, and I only had trouble with one of them -- but eventually it stuck just fine. The remote works very well and the timer is great as far as convenience and saving on batteries. Each candle takes 1 AA battery.

I found these superior to other sets, with strong suction cups that were stuck against a south facing window that got a LOT of light for the full month and not a one got loose. Others were suctioned on top of contact paper and that worked just as well. I set the timer ONCE right at dusk (4:15pm) and then didn't have to touch the remote again. So incredibly easy and a lovely elegant decor.
