MAXPOWER 14-Inch Heavy Duty Bolt Cutter, Hardened Chrome Molybdenum Steel Blade, Ergonomic Rubber Handle

I bought this 12 inch bolt cutter to cut down a galvanized wire fence. Did not want to work with a larger cutter, so tried this. This was easy to handle and readily cut the heavy wire in my fence. Great purchase for the money spent. No idea how it will do when cutting a small bolt. Price was such that I can buy a larger tool in the future in case I have to cut bolts.

This bolt cutter cut through a Master lock quite easily. That lock was in place for over 13 years and those cutters dispatched it in about 30 seconds. Make no mistake, it's heavy, but heavy duty too!I am positive that these will cut though fencing, bolts, and wire hangers in no time. Money well spent.

I bought this to remove my chain link fence, it cut through the links with very little effort. Really smooth. Would definitely recommend this.

My alternative title is buy cheap, buy twice. I tried to get it to do beyond its capacity. I tried to shear a 1/4" stainless bolt. Made a dent in it but that's all. Even then, I didn't find it comfortable or easy to put leverage on it. I'd say it's well suited for light duty work, likely aluminum or maybe mild steel small diameter. That said, quality is excellent. I'll keep it. Just remember to get the right tool for the right job. If you have any doubt at all, my advice is to go for something well over and above your intended application.

Received a well packaged 12inch cutter on time. Cuts and handles very easy. It was a huge help while repairing wire fences. Relatively small and takes little space in your tool box. Construction looks very solid and sturdy. I like it a lot. Highly recommended.

THis bolt cutter did an excellent job! I'm a woman but didnt have the strength to just cut. I had to put one handle against the building so I could cut the padlock. I am very pleased that I purchased. Bolt cutter is sturdy, gets the job done and overall I am happy with this product.

BOUGHT THIS BOLT CUTTER ASAP AFTER I CAME BACK FROM HOLIDAY ON 27TH JULY, TO CUT THE DIGITAL PADLOCK THAT WAS HOLDING MY SUITCASE CAPTIVE AS IT WOULD NOT RESPOND TO NUMBERS I SET. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
