As my Nelson 6000 sprinklers are dying I am switching to these SuperPro models. There work better and are easier and faster to adjust. Definitely the way to go.

I have several of these K-Rain sprinkler heads on my irrigation system and they have held up very well. Excellent range and coverage, easy to adjust and durable. I had to replace one head that may have been damaged during the fall blowout process but the replacement process was a 15 minute job. Not difficult at all and several YouTube videos out there to assist.

The K-Rain Super Pro is a cut above what is in the big box stores, it is more professional/homeowner, that simply homeowner. To explain, it is what is on the inside of the unit that makes it better. Amazon's price is great. This sprinkler adjust very similar to other K-Rain rotary units. HOWEVER, it comes with a nozzle pack with all the choices you would want for pattern and flow. The nozzles are labeled, but go to the K-Rain website to the chart for this unit. Then determine which nozzle you need. I switched to the Low Angle nozzle, for 22 feet radius, and then turned in the nozzle screw to get an 18 foot radius with a great splash of water. (This is for a dry spot in the lawn which seems to want more water to stay green in the Florida sunshine. These units can present a challenge, but take heart, we are smarter than them !

The media could not be loaded. Could not unscrew & remove the head from the case as described in K-Rain instruction sheet for cleaning the filter. It unscrewed, but won't come out.This first one was extremely difficult to pull out after unscrewing, but eventually I got it out, and another was somewhat difficult, but two more came out easily as expected. It took a fair amount of force & then it snapped out dangerously (see video), under full pressure of the spring. Lucky I didn't get injured. The two stuck ones had water in them, which makes it appear you were sending me returned items that don't work properly. Disappointing, because I've used many of these Rain-X 10003 heads before, for years without any issues. Not this time.However, I increased my rating from 3 to 4, since after testing in my system, the most troublesome head seemed to run fine & popped up, rotated through the set range & retracted as expected. I've just never had any that were so difficult to remove from the case like the two that I received this time. I hope they last.

this is an awesome sprinkler head. It works very well and is fully adjustable. Many different nozzle has allow you to customize the spray shape and flow amount. I have about 60 of these units and I'm very happy with them.

Mine came in with dirt and sand in one and water in the other...
