I have never been so excited to write a product review!After reading many reviews on multiple automatic pet feeders, I settled on this option. Let me tell you, it took roughly 5 minutes to setup - that includes taking the product out of the box. XDI bought the one with the mat/tray and it was a perfect fit! Intuitive to program and used the manual setting to test portion size - perfect perfect perfect! The feeder has a lid on top so the snoopy dogs cannot get into the delicious (to them) cat food.Our cat (the hungry guy he is) took right to the feeder and gobbled up the manual test portion that I left out for him. I'm personally not going to use the alarm or the voice options for our cat but they're a nice feature if we were to go on vacation. :)Thankful for those other reviewers out there and thankful for an automatic feeder for us lazy humans. Haha! Buy it, it will be the best money you've ever spent.

I just got this today. I ordered the black one with the mat and received the white one with no mat. Not a huge deal but you expect to get what you buy. Or at least I do....Our dog gets 1 cup of food 2x a day. This will hold up to 14 cups of food. So that is awesome.I do wish the volume on it was much louder. It is extremely quiet when it plays back your message.It was very easy to program which was nice.

Works great. I feed feral cats and this keeps them fed for a while, so I dont have to go every day.

Works fine. We have a bigger dog, but use smaller kibbles.

Bought this for our large cat. Set up and use is extremely fast and easy. Love it!

This was working but now out of the blue it won’t dispense the morning but was dispensing in the evening but now it doesn’t dispense in the evening either. The clock still runs just fine. The time comes and goes but no food drops. It is loud when it dispenses also.

Little hard to fully understand. Grams of food is hard to measure accurately.

I am really happy with this dispenser. I especially like that it both uses batteries and plugs into the wall. I haven't had a problem yet and my cat (and I) appreciate how dependable it is.
