Good, thick material fabric. Easy to slip on. Used it for a plague doctor costume! Rope is taped off on the ends but can easily be glued off with additional rope pieces of your choice for added detail. Very light weight balled chained wood cross. Perfect fit for me! True to size.

Looked great for my druid costume. I just added a hiking stick and some jewelry. I wish it was made of cotton and not something so synthetic but I still was happy with purchase. The rope belt is great! I took of the tape on the ends off and tied a little knot. The ends frayed just like I hoped. It felt like it was made of cotton but not sure. The plastic crucifix is good, made of solid plastic. I drilled a hole in the top so I could wear it upside down. Cheeky. The "chain" for the crucifix is cheap but it survived the night.

This review is for Spooktacular Creations Adult Medieval Hooded Monk Cloak Renaissance Priest Robe Halloween Costume (Medium). I have boughten quite a few costumes online in the past and they have been rather disappointing compared to what is shown or described. However, these were way better than I thought they would be. I was getting used to flimsy thin cloaks and caps and seams that split easily but this costume set did not feel like that at all. I'm 5'7" (1.7m) with about 32" (82cm) waist and 37” (94cm) chest and the Medium size fits me perfectly! Their chart is correct so I think ordering your normal adult size is appropriate here. The cloak and hood fabric was thicker than what I had expected, which was awesome. Both are really easy to slip on over the head (the cloak is one solid piece, not like a bathrobe). The hood is very generously sized so I can practically hide my face under it. The belt is soft and thick also, not some rough twine or stiff cord, so it was really easy to wrap around my waist. It measures roughly 65” (165cm). My waist is 32” so the rest hung nicely on the side. I even like the cross necklace. It’s light and long enough to not get in the way. This costume is already a complete as-is but I’m wearing this with my plague doctor costume (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XK926WS) and it really goes well with it. I may have to find a staff and / or lantern to carry while I’m at it to give it more of a creepy effect. Overall, this priest costume has really exceeded my expectations! The cloak and hood have a good weight to them and even the belt and cross are actually quite nice for a Halloween costume, at least compared to what I’ve had in the past. Product and descriptions matched. I love it so I would give it a 5.0/5.0 - 10/15/2023.

Missing parts of it and felt like eh material

I overall was very happy with this purchase. I have a personal pet peeve when something is pictured that is not part of the purchase in the main picture. In this case, the cross wasn't included. Luckily, I didn't think that cross really did much for the costume as it blends in with the robe too much based on the picture anyway, but still--the cross shouldn't be pictured if it is not included. That said, the robe itself went over wonderfully in my performance on stage to the song Hellfire. It's a convincing old style monk robe with a sharp looking rope tie. The hood was good too. The material felt fine on the skin, though the costume is a bit hot so if you can stay out of the heat with it, do so.
