AV Access 4K@60Hz HDMI Extender Over Ethernet Upto 164ft(4KEX60-H2)

I hooked this up last year December of 2020 and this has worked flawlessly for over a year. I am using CAT 6a and the run is very long as it goes from the front of my room up through the wall, into the ceiling, across the room and then back over to the center of the room where my EPSON HC5050UB is. If I look at the input details on a HDR movie from my player it shows 60K. I am simply blown away that this works and recommend it to anyone who does not want to run a HDMI or where it is easier to fish a CAT cable through the walls etc. Maybe once or twice I had to unplug the box at my receiver and plug it back in to get the signal to work - but that was maybe when I didn't use my theater room in a couple of weeks / month(s). I have no issues passing any content - Firestick, XBox, Bluray, 3D, 4K --- I have never received any errors. Hope this helps other owners out there looking for a great alternative to solve long run cable issues, or don't want to have to swap HDMIs every time something changes

I’ve had this for over a year now and it’s still working great. I needed to run ~40ft of hdmi cable from my tv to my media area. 4k over HDMI will not travel this far. Using this allowed me to get lag free crystal clear 4k with no issues. I can control my audio and power off/on all devices from my Apple TV remote as well.

i had a 4k extender from black box that worked great for 7 years. unfortunately a power failure and then surge knocked out the receiver end of the extender. to compound the problem the 4k extender from black box is on back order. so no tv in the living room. based on product description i ordered this unit from amazon. no good on 4k. 720 or 1080 ok but no 4k. now i am waiting for a return authorization from amazon that i am having problems getting. not sure why. i do not recommend this hdmi extender for 4k.

Work great

We installed a theater in 2010 and the builder hard wired the hdmi into the ceiling. A few weeks ago I updated the projector and it was having problems. Every few minutes the screen would go black. I assumed it was a bad projector and called Epson. They informed me the hdmi cable was dropping frames. Unfortunately, I could not change the hdmi because it is tied to a beam in the ceiling in a way that was inaccessible, but saw that I was forward thinking enough to install a CAT 6 cable in parallel. I bought this (plus 2 Amazon Basics hdmi cables to attach to my receiver and to my projector), connected them all together with the CAT 6 in the middle, and it worked! Projector is running at 4k, 12 bit, 60hz without issue and the picture looks stunning.

If only trying to extend it will work fine. Did not work downstream of a 4k splitter.

I have this paired to my matrix switch to allow the Ethernet cord to send the data for the display in another room since using an HDMI to do so is not feasible. Works great!

This is the second one that I ordered that was missing a power adapter. This package had previously been opened

Ich habe das Produkt bisher mit einem 15m CAT 5e Kabel getestet. Die Übertragung vom 4k60Hz YUV422 war ohne Probleme erfolgreich! Das Produkt hält was es verspricht! Der Empfänger sollte nicht an einem engen Ort untergebracht werden, er wird merklich wärmer als der Sender.

Etendeurs qui marchent très bien entre une Freebox Player située dans la baie informatique et ma télévision LG dans le salon , les deux reliés par câble CAT6a !

I’m using this over about 42m (138ft) of cat5e cable. Docs say to use cat6, but up to that distance (in my case at least) it still works perfectly. Tested up to 4K 30hz/fps and no problems at all (my older monitor only does 4K 60 on the display port input, so can’t test the higher refresh rate). Crystal clear, no detectable lag, audio over the hdmi port, and using the ir repeater to flip channels on my kvm switch. Really happy with this purchase!

These units work very well with 100 FT CAT6 cable. However, both units take power, yet only one power source is supplied. However, with one of the two units plugged in it works!
