Seiko SRX003 Mens Premier Kinetic Direct Drive Moonphase White Dial Black Leather Watch

Great watch which keeps excellent time. No illuminating features on this watch. Uses kinetic charging which is Seiko's version of automatic winding. There is a charge reader on the dial. Automatic watch winders do not work on this watch and the charger sold by Seiko is expensive. Love the moon dial. The day/date feature is not perpetual so has to be hand set. Very handsome watch. My favorite watch of the bunch that I have.

Unfortunately, I have to give this watch one star. Let's start with a brief description of the watch . It is absolutely beautiful. Every single detail is amazing. It came very well packaged with the manuals and a Seiko warranty card. I was able to setup both the day and the date, but I just could not setup the time. The minute and hour hands just did not move. I returned the watch to Amazon the next day. I have ordered more watches from Amazon in the past (Some way more expensive than this one) and this is just the second time that I have a problem with a watch. The returning process is easy and straightforward. That is the reason I only buy watches from Amazon. Seiko makes great watches and the company is well known for its quality. The same thing can be said about the seller, so I was just unlucky. I am still deciding if I should order another one. That watch is so nice and the price is so tempting that it is very hard to resist.

This is a stunningly beautiful dress watch with Moon Phase, Power Reserve, Date, Day of the Week, and 24 hour complications. 40MM x 13MM with a black leather croc embossed strap featuring a hidden deployment clasp. Unless Amazon has corrected this, the description bears no resemblance at all to the actual product. The photo is accurate.This is my first Kinetic drive watch, but I've always admired the concept. Kinetic is a hybrid drive where instead of winding a spring, the motion of your wrist charges a capacitor that, at full power, will last a month or more. That means you don't have to commit to one watch just to keep it running :)The Premier is Seiko's top of the line and it shows. The black Roman numerals on a white and silver face are easy to read, and the gold colored moon on a black background against the white dial is just gorgeous. The sub dials have silver rings with white textured faces and black markings, and have a MM or so depth for that dimensional feel. Black Dauphine hands with a very slim and elegant second hand add the final touch.The plush padded leather strap is very comfortable and MORE than big enough for my large wrists. Frequently the first thing I have to do with a new watch is buy an XL strap, or wear it using the last hole, but this one has plenty of adjustment available. The deployment clasp is comfortable and easy to use (and adjust) with a very solid feel.This is a very high quality timepiece and I got compliments on it the first day I wore it in public. I'm sure this watch will continue to bring me pleasure for years to come. THANK YOU DEAR!!!

This watch is among my favorite watches in my collection. I purchased it at a discount from a small jewelry store going out of business on the corner of 45th Street and Lexington Avenue in NYC five years ago and have worn it proudly since. Seiko has made a great looking, functional watch with this model and I have received numerous compliments from colleagues and others over the years as I have worn this watch - at work and at play. One of the great things about this watch is the Kinetic movement. Unlike automatic or mechanical watches, once I get the power drive up to the week or month indicator (normal after a few days of use), I can let this watch sit and wear other watches from my collection without having to worry I will have to reset all of the complications. With my automatics, I am always resetting the time/day/date after just a few days of non-use. This watch keeps great time, the complications are helpful and well displayed and the watch looks fantastic on a wrist. Seiko really nailed it with this watch.

This is a very well engineered watch don't be put off by the label. This is going to be a real collectors piece in the future so watch out for bargains now. No expense spared it doesn't rattle when you shake, and that's a good sign.
