A ruler without markings you can read is a useless piece of plastic. This has become a useless piece of plastic in less than a week.

The ruler is a super soft plastic that bends easily, which means it wont break, but also means it is never perfectly straight...which is kind of the point of a ruler. I gave it an extra star though, because it is flexible it means you can measure round objects by wrapping it around which is kind of unique.

Just know it's flexible. My kids school wants hard plastic.

This is actually a great ruler. I'm giving it a low score because the listing makes it look like you will get a set of 4 rulers, one of each color. This is NOT true. You will only get ONE ruler, and it will be whatever color the vendor chooses. $6.88 is a lot to pay for just one ruler, especially when you can get them at other sites for $1.99 each. I will keep this ruler because I like it. I wish someone had warned me that I was only getting one ruler in a color not of my choice. So that's why I writing this review to warn you.
