I have tried variety of boogie boards, this is my fav because it is so much fun to work with kids. Let them express their ideas.No chalk dust no alcohol smell from the marker. Best product for teachers and students

Pen got damage quickly and scratched easily. I contacted about this issue but never got a response.

I bought this item because I have all of their products!! And it is amazing………..

I'll admit, I wasn't on board at first, but my partner in our tutoring business wanted to give this board a shot. The students (mostly high schoolers) do seem to love it. We mounted it right over a thin table that allows us to sit side-by-side with the kids and use the board during sessions to do problems together. Sometimes it's frustrating to not be able to erase (can only clear with the center button), but it hasn't been a big problem. Honestly, my biggest complaint is the fuzzy tipped pen thing the board came with...it didn't hold up at all and now we're always looking for random objects that can function as a stylus. The board's a little more expensive than just getting a standard white board, but it does avoid that dry eraser marker mess and it's a nice change of page from our other boards.

This board itself is pretty amazing and it is a shame it is discontinued. I have been using it for the past year and a half, I got it just a month before it was discontinued and I definitely do not regret it. The felt pen it comes with is pretty bad and numbed down, but I contacted customer support and got a fully plastic tip pen which works really well so I mostly just use that. I am hoping this board lasts me a long while and it does not get damage because I will never be able to get another one. It is a real shame and they should bring back making these.

Extremely pleased with the blackboard 55! Needed something along the lines of a whiteboard but they were glaringly out of place in our contemporary styled office. Found this product and could not be happier. Works exactly as promised, looks fantastic and have no issues with functionality or the "ghosting" effect we experienced with similar, (but inferior) products. I highly recommend Boogie Board products. High quality and the customer service team is awesome!!

This is a great board for display and for quick brainstorming. It is very easy to write on and easy to read, especially if it is lit or in a well lit room. It is also nice to clear the board with the touch of a button. Finally, it is great not to be constantly looking for working dry erase markers. The only drawback is that you cannot just erase parts of the board easily, but once you get used to it, it is a great tool.

Love the board and love the company service. They’re very engaged and helpful. We have the board in our conference room for client meetings and the uniqueness of the product lends itself to icebreaker conversations explaining how it works. Would highly recommend!
