Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance - PlayStation 2

I love this game so much simply because the AI doesn't just let you win. It makes you actually get good at timing and combos unlike todays modern day games IMO. Thanks for the nostalgic blast!

I missed playing these games back in the day and I cannot believe I found this game for such a cheap price on Amazon and I got it within a couple days for a reasonable price, love this game a lot.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is the best Mortal Kombat for Playstation 2. This game revamped the combat part of the game in that the fighters knew two different martial art styles and had a weapon as well. The graphics make leaps from the conversion from Playstation to Playstation 2. The last Mortal Kombat before this was released was Mortal Kombat 4, which was iconic in its own regard, but the gameplay, background stories, and graphics of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance paved the way for other fighting games to come out for Playstation 2. The incorporation of new characters, a new game mode (Konquest), and a new feature (The Krypt) made for an exciting, innovating game that allowed the Boone brothers to exceed expectations as always. Great game for company , loads of fun!

This copy of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is in fantastic condition. No scratches or any marks on the disc, which is very appreciative. Game plays very good with no issues. Thank you for taking great care of it responsibly. 5/5 stars.

fun but gets old after a while (this coming from the guy who has 5 different version of mortal kombat lol). just buy it. at the end of a hard day when you don't want to think about any thing or get too involved in gameplay, pop this bad boy in and unleash the aggression. win or lose, you feel better after. its like rage caging in digital form. one of the best version of this game. the onscreen move lists are great. graphics are amazing (for ps2). and like i said before, its quick, some games are intimidating, and if you only have a little time to play its like, "damn, i gotta go thru like 4 training missions and learn a new set of control and sit thru cut scenes....that's over an hour before and game play!! forget it, i'll play something else..." i grew up on O.G. NES, and couldn't afford the upgrade system until PS1 was at the lowest price (right after ps2 dropped), so that my style of gaming. pop in the game and get to it. no research or training necessary. aint nobody got time for that!

I’ve always been a big fan of mortal kombat. This game came out when I was still in high school. Always fun to play on my down time.

This is my first real introduction to the world of Mortal Kombat since I’ve always been a bigger fan of Street Fighter and Killer Instinct. I can honestly say I’m not disappointed. It’s not as fast as KI and not as... gymnastic as SF, but it doesn’t try to be nor need to be, as it has a certain brutality and engaging rhythm which really defines the gameplay. I don’t personally enjoy the game quite on the level of my aforementioned preferences, but it’ll certainly be getting a lot of play from me.

Game crashes as soon as you choose to play in the main menu. My whole ps2 system crashed and I couldn’t even get the disc out of the console. Total waste of money.
