This looked and sounded like a good idea. It makes alot of noise and works fine until you try to set it. Unlike other Barska products there is no key or alternate way to shut it , wait for it...... So upon setup I shut the device to check to see if the admin print worked ... wait for it..... And now I have a $100 brick. What a disappointment ! Should have went for 3 cheap sentry's instead of this green brick i now have.

Small and easy to pick up and steal. That's my main problem. You'd have to find a place to lock your locked safe.

Cool little safe but I wouldn't keep anything valuable in it. I think this safe is more for items you don't want to leave laying around at the office.

This product is a total failure. To start the fiasco, the instructions are inaccurately written - leading to many trial and error experiments to find out what procedure was actually required for the various programming steps. This forced several programming restarts - and the directions for a programming restart are of course also inaccurate. THEN, once I finally did get my two Master prints registered - it responded by opening about one time in ten.Since there is no backup opening method such as a key - then you better be patient about getting it open. If you have used it as a gun safe - well - I hope your home invader is patient too.Unfortunately my daughter bought it for us as a gift, so I don't want to return it and hurt her feelings - but it isn't going to hold anything that I might actually need to retrieve in a timely fashion.

A really great product to secure my nicknacks and semi-valuables. I like the fingerprint access; no need to fumble with keys. Highly recommended.
