Lego Education Pneumatics Addon Set for Simple & Powered Machines Base Set
The media could not be loaded. This video shows one of the items that can be made with the Lego Education Pneumatics add-on set in addition to the Simple & Powered Machines Base Set (sold separately). It doesn’t take too long to build and the valves and tubings can withstand quite high pressure without coming apart. This video shows manual pumping of the air into the air tank but there is also an option to rig up a battery operated pumping cylinder.

Misleading picture and very overpriced
For around $180, this kit only contains a few pneumatic components: a couple of pistons, a pressure gauge, 3 switches, a small tank for storing compressed air, and a few pieces of tubing. There is NOTHING you can build with it alone. The picture on the Amazon posting cannot be built with only this kit. My 5 year old grandson was extremely disappointed. Even worse, the switches are not compatible with older Lego pneumatic kits.
