OH MY!!
These are THE COOLEST laser toys EVER. I read the reviews and I'm so very glad I chose to order this line of laser tag guns. I threw my son a surprise party for his 9th birthday with 8 of the Wowwee Light Strike guns as the feature entertainment. He had been wanting to play laser tag ever since we went to an arcade that had it. The guns are awesome and this scope is no less awesome. He was so excited that it added extra shooting options to his gun (like cannon shots) and it helped him aim exactly where he wanted with more accuracy. I opted out of some of the other attachments based on reviews I read. This item received high reviews and I see why. I also purchased the Refractor attachment based on reviews and love it as well. These toys provide hours of entertainment and better yet, actual exercise!!! Can't beat that in my book =)

I don't know what to use it for
I need to look at products more closely then I would have known this was for an electronic gun not my nerf gun

This item was well worth the trouble I got into from my wife for ordering it for my son's light strike guns when it wasn't his Birthday or Christmas. It simulates a holographic sight pretty well, with two red LED dots projected on the inside of the scope. It alters the function of the standard light strike gun and turns it into a powerful sniper rifle with greater range and a more powerful hit at the cost of much lower rate of fire. I haven't been able to test the limits of the extended range just yet since I'm laid up before knee surgery, but once I'm more mobile we'll put this through its paces. If you have light strike guns get this attachment, its worth it. If you don't have light strike guns, get those first otherwise this scope will be a real drag just sitting there on the desk mocking you.

Good Addition
It provides the light strike with two or three more shooting options: refractor canon and optic canon ( which are the strongest.) It could also be used with the Rapid Fire System, which if used alone wouldn't let you use the other shooting options when attached.

Perfect!
Great attachment! Works great and does what it is supposed to do.

Does not work
I bought this for my son and he was so exited. He realized, based on the other reviews, that it might not actually help his aim too much, but he did not expect it to interfere with his view. He said when he attached the scope to his gun, it actually interfered with his vision as all he could see when he looked thru it was a blurry red light. He says not to buy this unless you are only looking for decoration, and not any functionality.

Accuracy, Power, Versatility.
This was one of two accessories I purchased when I first acquired my Light Strike system. I decided on the scope for several reasons, not the least of which was its versatility in the range of available weapon selections. I also enjoyed the "feel" of being able to look down the scope at the target, even though there is no zoom to speak of. I will address each benefit and detriment below. Accuracy/Range: Having just purchased a house with the biggest yard I've ever had (200ft, minimum), I decided I needed the scope so that I could make the fullest use of the space I have available to me. What I discovered is that the maximum effective range of a striker with this accessory may be well above the advertised 100ft (IF you're playing in sunset conditions or total darkness). As with any infrared tagger, bright light will reduce range and accuracy. I also discovered that I could hit my target much more effectively with the scope than without it, despite popular opinion. Versatility: First, I'll say that the Refractor "Cannon" is NOT the same thing as the Refractor Launch System. The Refractor Cannon does have a wider angle of attack, but packs less power than either the Optic Cannon or Refractor Launch System accessory. With that said, this one accessory grants its user the ability to inflict large amounts of damage with the Optic Cannon, at long range, sometimes resulting in a one or two-shot kill. The Stealth Strike weapon option functions identically to its non-accessorized namesake, but with a larger clip, greater range and longer reload time. These three weapons allow the user to strategize effectively, even if it is the only attachment he owns. When one considers the fact that, of the two over-barrel mounts available, one has absolutely no practical use whatsoever, it becomes clear that the Scope is definitely a recommended purchase. It offers range, accuracy, power, and versatility not available in any other attachment. If you acquire only one accessory, make it this one.

Cheapest thing ever
Did anyone bother to mention this does a 1-2 hit kill or recover? No seriously this thing is OP as hell. This thing also quads the range of the weapon like seriously you almost don't need to aim perfectly at the oposing weapon just look in the direction and fire you will have a shot. To make this fair I usually have 3 v 1 matches with the 1 person using this thing and the other 3 still lose. Sad isn't it. Still if this is in your hands then don't worry you will be the biggest cheap ass ever and that is why I gave this a five star.
