CD-IV203 iPhone 5 5S 5C AppRadio VGA Interface Cable For PIoneer Radios ( 2014 AVH model) VGA/USB Interface Cable for iPhone 5/5C/5S: The CD-IV203 cable kit for select Pioneer multimedia DVD receivers uses a VGA solution to gain compatibility with the Apple iPhone 5/5C/5S. The CD-IV203 kit includes a 6.5' VGA-to-RGB cable to accomplish video transfer and a 20" Lightning-to-USB connector cable for charging the iPhone 5/5S/5C. A Bluetooth connection between the phone and the DVD receiver is required for audio transfer and control. Enjoy AppRadio Mode, Music, and Video on the Receiver To complete compatibility between AppRadio Mode and the iPhone 5, An Apple Lightning to VGA Adapter is required to use this cable. Trouble shoot : In case your headunit says incompatible USB error after connecting, this is only the headunit setting problem ,not the cable problem. The stereo setting needed to be set to iPhone via Bluetooth. Please don't set the stereo setting to iPhone via USB. Works with the following 2014 Pioneer in-dash DVD receivers (as of 11/27/2013) AVH-X2600BT AVHX3600BHS AVH-X4600BT AVH-X5600BHS Package Included : 1 x CD-IV203 iPhone 5 5S 5C AppRadio VGA Interface Cable Kit for Pioneer

This cable did WORK for me with my Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS ...
This cable did WORK for me with my Pioneer AVH-X5600BHS and iPhone 6 plus on iOS 8.0.2. As some other comments have already pointed out, if you use this with the Pioneer units, you first need to turn off Bluetooth on your phone, turn the head unit off and back on and then go into the settings on the radio and under DEVICE CONNECTION change from "iPhone via USB" to "iPhone via Bluetooth." Turn the radio off again to save settings, turn Bluetooth back on on your phone, turn on the radio and connect your Bluetooth phone connection to the head unit. Now plug in the VGA to Lightning connector and go into AppRadio mode and it should work.Note: In addition to these cables you will need the Apple VGA/Lightning charger connector/adapter which is almost $50 by itself.Opinion: After making all this work for AppRadio and buying nearly $100 worth of adapters, I would have to say that it wasn't worth the time. AppRadio is very clumsy and slow and often crashes.

Not a fan of AppRadio
Its just ridiculous how many cables you need to make an expensive radio work and the cables are pretty overpriced. Just do yourself a favor and get a radio with CarPlay like the 4000NEX.

nice people!
although this chord did not workout for me they were very prompt at responding. They quickly offered a replacement for the one that did not work, although because I don't have the luxury to take my car back in again to the shop to change it, they gladly refunded me my money. Very nice people! its a shame that it just didn't workout for me.
